The part they edited was adding the sentence "No person who is not a citizen of the United States shall be allowed to vote in this state."

Ah, didn't know that part. Lived in NC last election cycle. Didn't click the link because I guess I misread it on my ballot and was really just looking up the result.

Yeah, it was like 2010 we visited, and my brother had to call my dad to remind him (as him and my step mom were driving to hit up some national parks) to stock up on beer before leaving Texas.
