Unfortunately the Beverly Hills station will only have to allow apartments within 1/4 mile - cities under 35k population (Beverly Hills, South Pasadena, West Hollywood if they ever get a train stop) don't have requirements from 1/4 to 1/2 mi.

I think Kentucky deserves a shout out for being among the least worst red states. Curtis Sliwa says a number of wealthy people have reached out to him and offered money to quit the NYC mayoral election race. He will supposedly start releasing names if the offers continue.

Curtis Sliwa, the Republican nominee in the race for mayor of New York City, said Wednesday that he has received at least seven calls from “emissaries” of wealthy people who have repeatedly offered him money to end his campaign.

Sliwa slammed those offers as “unethical and illegal.” And he warned that if he receives one more such offer, he will begin revealing names of the wealthy New Yorkers who have made them, NBC affiliate WNBC reported.

Sliwa reiterated his vow not to suspend his campaign.
