In public, Mayor Eric Adams says he's in it to win it. But during an off-the-record roundtable with about 20 city leaders Wednesday afternoon, three people in the room said Adams appeared to shift his position, implying he might consider dropping out in the future if it was best for the city.

When asked about what the sources had told NBC New York, the mayor's campaign said Adams has not made a decision to drop out but plans to conduct his own poll "to make a decision."

According to the three people in the room Wednesday, Adams said he would continue to watch polls, adding that races are not determined until the last four weeks. Election Day is just under eight weeks away, on Nov. 4.

We voted as well in VA. I know a lawyer that has worked with both of the AG picks and his take was that they were both pretty normal. I still voted straight D ticket though because if there is no difference then why not

both of the school board candidates in chesapeake said "we don't want to push political agendas" but one said "and we want girls sports to be fair" so I voted for the one who was not (openly) a transphobe

Same. Voted by mail couple weeks ago. Was almost immediately called as passed upon polls closing. Overwhelming victory for it.

As votes counted rises, so does the yes percentage. Usually things narrow.

When I posted on discord, it was 63% yes, with 35% of votes counted.
It's now 64.3% yes, with 62% of votes counted.
