Glen Taylor's (former Timberwolves/Lynx owner) Chief Sales Officer Tommy Merickel is bankrolling the campaign for the MN Republican Gov candidate Lisa Demuth. He is the current lead of the Restore Sanity PAC and the former director of the Minnesota Jobs Coalition (created to push for voter IDs and a ban on gay marriage). While Merickel says Taylor has no direct influence on the PAC or the campaign, Merickel is using Taylor's email network, @taylor.com, to conduct his business and Taylor Corp is also providing snail mail campaign mailings. The PAC's biggest donor is Richard Uihlein (Wisconsin resident), known for owning and founding the Uline supply company.

1. the democrat im running against refused to vote for banning stock trading in congress (which is funny because obviously the republican voted against it too)

2. the democrat is endorsed by aoc and mamdani, SOCIALISM (bold strategy because they uh, are very popular around here)

Every Democratic ad here in MN is that along with catering to billionaires. The Republican ads are similar, but always include the Somali fraud and a scare that the money went to supposed terrorists.

I generally avoid network TV these days and only catch the odd commercial checking in on my mom and such. Think I've mainly seen conservative ads (because Ohio, of course) and it's the usual EVIL SOCIALIST DEMOCRAT spiel the wraps up with the token "vote for our guy" even though he/or the party is responsible for current problems. 50/50 shot they mention trans.

Arizona Congressional District 8 candidate Bernadette Greene-Placentia says she was raped by 2 men while she was repairing a campaign sign.

An attacker smashed her over the head. She blacked out. She woke up to find a strange man on top of her.

Greene-Placentia struggled to open her eyes. She felt a sharp pain below her waist. The attacker was pulling his penis out of her.

She heard him mumble something like, “-ic bitch, not a very good fuck,” which her mind filled in as “Democratic bitch,” she recalled. She wasn’t sure that was exactly what he said.

One leg was out of her jean capris. She wore brand-new tennis shoes and a campaign t-shirt. Another man came over. Greene-Placentia felt his weight nudging her left leg further apart. She began swinging her foot at him. “Not even worth it,” she heard the man say as he moved away. He wore black boots and had small feet, she recalled.

The two men left Greene-Placentia face down in the parking lot. The hatch of her silver Jeep Grand Cherokee was still open. The car was still running. She heard music.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the attack.
