Yep, managed to get it simply because I was checking to see if I had an alert setup lol. Looks like scalpers are about to make bank as the only real value is Starfox 2 and only to see if it's a different version from what's available online now.

I got 2 from Amazon. Seriously follow this guy @Wario64, put his tweets on alert, at least while you are trying to get this. This is probably how most people found the Amazon listing. But he finds some great deals and free stuff too.

Yep, at this point it'd be better for people to just build their own (superior) one, since aside the nostalgic design/Starfox II/collectors..realistically..lol. It just kinda irked me that I only found it BY ACCIDENT, so now I couldn't even get one for a gift since it sold out after I got mine lol. Walmart emailed and it was gone instantly.

I got the text from gamestop that preorders are live, i ran out of work, ran to my gamestop which is a block away, and was the first to preorder. Happy days!

That's your best bet to snag one. You probably cannot preorder online from GameStop. Stores will be allotted a quantity depending on store size and location. Good luck everyone.

I'm not too overly worried about it, as I have 3 different SNESes at home and collect games for the system currently. I did however want two consoles -- one so I could keep it unopened on my wall, and a 2nd so I could mod/flip it and get my money back and then some. It almost seems silly and ironic on how I was boasting about this a few months ago, only to get boned today.

I wouldn't be too worried about Starfox II actually -- that game is going to be dumped almost immediately within the next few days after people get their consoles, with the "legitimate" ROM/repros coming out very soon after.

All GameStops here already sold all preorders. Most stores had preorder quantities around 6-8 and anticipate additional units available at launch.
