I'm like 12th in line at Toys
Have to say this was fun as fuck. Everyone had been chill and we spent hours reminiscing about Nintendo shit.
was able to buy 2 on walmart.ca
Let's hope i can make money![]()
Yeah it was all pleasant at target by me. It was people just everywhere until 7:15, then people just lined up in the order.we got there and we're all just bullshitting then let in 10 mins before the store opened and done. Only got there abbot two hours before
You nerds and waiting in line while I'm at work.
back in line again, now at a Toys R Us that'll open in 70 minutes. it looks like I'm about #30 -- no tickets or communication from store personnel yet
saw a teenage girl in line at the Target skipping school/arriving late, one of only a few yung'uns I've seen camping
Same for both stores I went to as well. Only one salty person that got mad at Walmart staff for no one telling her she wouldn't get one even though she showed up maybe in the last 60-90 mins.
Went to Target around 4:30 and ended up getting 2 more (15 and 16/47). They were still giving out the last few tickets left when they opened.
Back home now with one. I saw an exceptionally wide range of ages there in line with me. I'd say from 10-65. All of the young ones were allowed to skip all/part of the school day for this by their parents, lol.
Must be a difference between stores. As soon as the store manager got to the one I was at, he came outside every 1 hr on the hr to give updates and allow for RR breaks inside the store itself. However, he gave tickets to us within the last 15 mins before the store opened, so that no one would use the free time to sell off their ticket (people were apparently selling their tickets/places in line when the 2nd round of the NES Classic dropped). Awesome Manager and very likely does not get paid what he should.
Only 1 (Gamestop)of the 4 (Walmart/Amazon) I ordered actually shipped. lol
Oh man, restroom breaks would be nice. I'll be holding this another 20min.
Got ticket #26 of 42 at TRU. About 50 people in line when they were handed out, so a few sads were had at the end of the line
Showed up at 11:30p last night at the Walmart a quarter mile from my house, I was about #40 in line and they announced they only had 27. GG to that.
Some buddies texted me this morning and told me a local Target had 80 units and 40 people in line. Target opened at 8a, diverted from commute and got there at 8:05a, got in line and bought #62.
Hubby showed up at Target at opening and apparently even though our local ones don't "allow" lining up early they distributed tickets at 4am.
Luckily some people didn't come back by 9am so his patience paid off and he scored one. I'm happy.
For those of you living in/around major cities, the Amazon Treasure Truck just fired off a message that they have SNES classics available:
https://www.amazon.com/b?node=15020057011
and http://www.amazon.com/ttgo once signed up; not entirely sure if you needed to be signed up beforehand for it to work however.
Woo congrats all!
Now after 4 releases, it's time to yawn through work.
Got one at Toys R Us and my exchange one got stealth delivered today.
Ugh... completely forgot and didn't get to target until 930, already sold out
Guess I'll try again if they get another round
This thing is sooooo fucking tiny! I hooked it up to the hdmi in at my work monitor after picking it up at gamestop. Love this thing!
