Def going to order one just so I have a safe place to store it when I'm done with it and know that dust wont claim its life and discolor it.

I ordered one, prices are good. And when shen said, i keep it in it’s original box for storage, but it’s annoying removing it from the box everytime.
I may have to get that RDS case.
it's glimmery!

Gotta say, I love all these wannabe scalpers trying to sell SNES classics on Amazon. The number of available to buy ones has gone from like 700 to over a 1000 after yesterday. I'm glad so many people are showing restraint and not giving in to these assholes.

I feel like there's been a good 5-10x as many SNESCs as NESCs.
That's good. The NES Classic is nostalgia-powered mediocrity, but the SNES Classic is legitimate gaming excellence. If they had somehow managed to include TMNT4 (or even Super Double Dragon), I would probably take that over any 20 games for any other system.
With mods you can add a fairly large library to it.
i like the original hardware a lot and not always the controller. some of my original controllers have a worn d-pad or less responsive L&R, so there's something to be said for the SNESC's two new controllers. it's so crisp and fresh; the new controller experience only adds to my love of the miniSNES
it may look marginally prettier on the CRT, but responsive Angle Ups and Angle Downs with Samus are more important
Idk, nostalgia will spew from the 64 with Mario 64, Zelda, FZero, Star Fox, Golden Eye, Perfect Dark, Smash, Mario Party, Banjo, Conqueror's Bad Furday.. Those are titles I grew up with on N64, you could cherry pick another 10 or so great titles I'm sure and you'd have a solid line up that would make a lot of people crave purchasing the thing.
N64 Mini won't hold up unless Nintendo cheats some emulator magic to bump up the 320x200 resolution, the anti-aliasing vaseline, and 10-20fps on some of the note-worthy games. Going from upper-tier 2d to early 3d will be an eyesore for a lot of folks.
Lol imagine playing duke nukem without any if that “emulator magic.”
Can Turok be added too?
One, you're not gonna get licensing for certain N64 titles that have been much covered, and two, its library as a whole just isn't as good, especially nowadays with a decade or two of age sprinkled on top. It's not that N64C wouldn't be fun, it just won't be glorious like its SNES brother.
now some 4player Kart I'd still play a lot
One big thing that sets the SNESC apart is that from the standpoint of game selection (from what is available on the system), the SNESC gets a solid A, whereas the NESC gets a C+ and the N64C is probably restricted by licensing issues to a B-.
I was never an N64 fan - it was terrible at both fighting games and RPGs, which is most of what I play - but it seems to me that outside of Mario and Zelda, Smash 64 is considered the Street Fighter 1 of Smash and F-Zero X is considered the Zelda 2 of F-Zero. There's no N64 Metroid, and Starfox/Mario Kart don't have the same impact that they did on SNES.
But even if you ignore all that and put in every game Shenrien listed... where are you going to get 10 more great N64 games? The N64 doesn't have shmups, doesn't have brawlers, and (as stated before) doesn't have RPGs or fighting games. The genre library for that system is just... threadbare. Most of the industry-defining brands that were the hallmark of the NES and SNES - Mega Man, Castlevania, Final Fantasy, Street Fighter, Double Dragon, Contra, TMNT, and even Metroid - are all missing.
