Also, if any of you bros are interested in the continuing development of the Super NT, we have a discord now:

Kevtris actually posts here pretty hyperactivly while he works in the evenings, so you can directly ask him (non-jailbreak) related questions or listen to him rant. Smokemonster also is a regular as well, though it's likely he also can't answer some of the more through jailbreak stuff just yet.

Been playing around with my Super NT for a coupla days now, and I gotta say, after jail-breaking it, this is an extremely impressive piece of hardware. It's not without its faults (scalers all suck, scanlines are not without their issues, even at 720p), but I already prefer it over my Rasp Pi 3 setup.

Really having a tough time with selecting my roms though, and I don't know where my mental block is:

Do I use roman numerals for the 3 FFs? What about 2/4 vs 3/6? I'm thinking of just going Final Fantasy 4 -> 5 -> 6 so their in chronological order in my list.
Same basic issue with things like Lufia. The sequel's going to be listed above the original if I don't do something like stick a "1" in the name of the first.
What about all of the games that start with "The"? I kinda hate how all of the "official" roms end up with names like "Legend of Zelda, The - A Link to the Past"

Yeah, my OCD is pretty bad.

Why not do Final Fantasy 4 (II) and Final Fantasy 6 (III)?

Yeah, I remember doing a Hyperspin project a couple of years ago where I shortened a lot of the file names on roms to both have them sorted alphabetically as well as ease things up slightly when creating xml lists for box art, attract videos, etc. Guess I'll be re-negging on a bit of that now.

Soooooooooooooo, I got me one of the new 8Bit-Do wireless controllers to match the Super NT. While it's got a very authentic feel and no perceptible lag, the dpad on it has a serious design flaw. If I'm pressing one of the cardinal directions on it, and just ever so slightly rock my thumb to the right/left or up/down, it'll register as an input on the direction that I rolled my thumb in. My thumb hasn't even come remotely close to the adjacent button. It's made things like Contra pretty much unplayable with how sensitive it is. Hell, even playing non-twitchy stuff like FF6 has been a real pain. Thinking of sending it back, but wondering if anyone else has had the same experience with the SN30?

I have another SN30 Pro that I'm going to give a shot and see if it has the same issue.

Yes, I've had this same problem for a while now with my newer SN30. It seems to only be a problem with the newer models that have recently been released alongside the Super NT. What people have been doing is putting opening them up, then placing electrical tape around the edges of the controller pads:

Here's to hoping they doubled the cord length on those NES pads, and updated their emulator to remove that pixel shimmering on the 4:3 mode due to crap scaling.

If you bought an SNES classic tha shipped with the cord extenders, they are also compatible with NES Classic controllers.

My body is ready for an N64 Classic. Though I think the game selection will be limited without Rare. Whatever. Just put Zelda, Mario 64, and Mario Kart 64 on there and anything else is gravy.

You know they are going to put MK Mythologies: Sub Zero on there. Worst N64 game ever

It'd be Mario Party 2 then, as that wouldn't require them to also pack in the gloves for joystick-spinning minigames.
