I finally beat it by BSSBing Luneth RW for damage and doing Luneth and Desch in parallel, but it is certainly nowhere as good as mage BSSBs. I 50'd a swordshower and nothing else but it ended up being amazing, particularly with BSSB enwind on and the mighty R1 entrust. Luneth BSSB strategy needs either another self boost (dark bargain or meteor crusher) or preferably to use command 2 for atk up/res down effect plus damage - you probably won't push enough atk otherwise. Aerial Blast coming out eventually for XIV will be much better.
That said, the ahriman has about a 40% base chance to use physicals each turn so if you get a RNG with heavy physical usage into blind (and probably an early poison) you'll win - I won only because in his last few turns ahriman went lunge->attack-> lunge, most of which missed, in between swordshowers while almost everyone else was dead from an earlier meteor.
For the CM, there's three DDs who can use wind and each has their upsides (desch can blind and poison from the back and aerora strike; luneth can self boost and wind jump from the back or other jumps; refia can wind slash from the back and meteor crush). Luneth is probably the strongest in a vacuum with a self boost and very strong and cheap wind skill.
