The wife and I absolutely loved this show. The season seems just a tad too short, but it was still great.
My take away from the last episode
Spoiler: show
Nothing in the world could convince me to experience Stranger Things in VR.
The actress playing El freaking out was super adorable considering how great she was in the show.
still think El looks like a young wil wheaton
Apparently Shanon Purser (Barb) wants to be Squirrel Girl

Also she looks a lot different IRL so the ST crew did an awesome job with her look.
I'm okay with this.
Incredible show. The wife and I watched all 8 episodes in a row yesterday. I can't wait for the next season.
Finally finished it today. That was so great, best show on Netflix imo
Ok, so something occurred to me that could be considered a plot hole?
If the monster is attracted to blood, then how come it doesn't show up whenever El is bleeding from her nose and ears every time she uses her powers?
It's not attracted to any one bleeding, it just happens to be able to sniff people out that are bleeding nearby. Every scene except the final scene at the school has the monster coming into our reality in generally the same area (the woods or the house), but it just so happens that when El kills all those people at the school that it was enough blood to make the monster come directly there.
That makes sense. When Barb was taken, the tree hole was in the area of Steve's house, right? So there's proximity in that. But is Byers house close to Steve's?
Close enough that Jonathan ended up there when looking for Will.
Yeah, tree hole is near Steve's place. And afaik the wooded area near Steve is just another area of the same wooded area near Byers.
