Getting to put Vaan and Zidane in the same party with synergy made this event so one-sided.

Woops, went in with my trash, orbfest leveling team. Beat it just fine, but didn't notice there were mastery conditions XD have to redo it later I guess.

Setup I'll use for fun when I'll do garland and GOLBEZ on Tuesday I think

1) WOL(80) Banish blade r5 + protectga ( holy dmg increase)
2) pcecil (80) Saint cross r3 + shellga ( attunment 20% probsbly)
3) ramza (80) (w/e about his skills) but mako might for shout)
4) tyro (80) w/e about skill 1 but multi break for 2) and dr mog for SG
5) Penelo (80) curaja + diaga with ace strike rm ( for intercession)

Goal is simple, tyro and ramza buff ASAP then summon pcecil RW each while Cecil and WOL spam holies

i will probably do exactly that. WoL/cecil are only at 65, but with synergy bonus + shout + weakness i'm sure that won't particularly matter

for U, i took the bsb crew of cloud/tidus/faris + rosa and p.cecil. threw it together without thinking it through, shoulda stuck tyro where cecil went as i wasn't exactly lacking for damage. anyway, i pushed a bit too fast and rosa didn't get an SB charge up in time so i lost a couple of dudes toward the end. still cleared it with mastery though, -1 medal for KO'ed characters.

U+ was a joke, used the setup rata put together. intercession was pretty meh, 9k damage or so and i only got to cast it once i think. woulda been better off with yuna spamming alexander, but that's nitpicking over which option wins more so certainly not worth stressing over.

Man, even with a good damage output, I still only won with 3/5 people alive because they'd single target someone with EQ or Thundaga/Blizzaga and one-shot lol. Having no wall for these types of things sucks.

At least HotL helped some!

Just ran Ramza, Tidus, Yshtola, WoL and Pecil simply so I wouldnt have to change parties. Everything hit for max damage cept diaga, which was closing 8.5k.

Omnommed both fights. Nice to have the occasional Ultimate set that's not all about FU RNG. Obviously, part of the ease is qualified characters getting synergy on everything, but even then I wasn't really relying on any unique SBs. Didn't use a Pecil RW for either.

Decided to go with A++ team for this one for the sake of pub stomping. U 1/1 no medals lost, dropped a major power orb.

BSB Bartz, FC + PC, Shout, TR, Vanille was mostly there for Holy.

Btw, for those that actually use Pecil in their group. don't bother equipping a damage + RM on him. Just give him either Ace Striker or Knight's Charge. He was even capping damage on 160 with ease with just Knight's Charge.
