God damn what kind of hard on does Melusine have for Faris?

Ive tried S/L like 15 times and every single time she hits Faris with Blizzaga right off the bat.

Edit: Bitch wont ever switch to Lightning weakness either. Gilgamesh is left with 0 BotW uses and 8 Thunder Jump uses.

Edit 2: Finally cleared. Left and re-entered, so 120 stamina used. Full Medals on the clear. Changed to a more offensive minded set-up with Full Charge on Bartz instead of Drain Strike for his neutral attack, and since Melusine never went Thunder weakness switched to Ice Jump and BotW on Gilgamesh. Left Esuna alone on Lenna and just used Shellga, which freed Faris up for an extra mitigation armor instead of shared Shellga.

Working on Leviathan CM now.

Edit 3: Leviathan CM down! Lost one medal each for Actions, Damage, and Characters KO'ed (damn you Memento Mori taking ExDeath the action before killshot) but still mastered.

I know people hate it, but Drawtaliate on Greg, Full Charge and Thundara Strike on Bartz, Faris MBD/FB, Lenna Shellga/Curaja and Shared Medica, ExDeath MM and Thundaja. Nothing special or fancy, but got lucky is that the first half of the battle all Levi did was physical attacks and prep Tidal Wave. He didnt cast Waterga until like 40% HP and maybe countered once.

U and U+ were pretty easy with just some cautious timing, but I had great V synergy gear.
Too bad Ifrit isn't easier without heavy hone requirements.

This. Just need a fire ability for turn 1 where you have the guaranteed fire weakness for medals. No sense in bringing other abilities that have a 75% probability of being unusable at any given point in the fight when non-elemental abilities can be used without worry.

This isnt the previous versions of the fight where you could sleep on the weakness of your choice and nuke it to death.

I don't have great ff5 weapon synergy at all, so I was relying on the elemental abilities to supplement that a bit.

I got tired of running with all 3 elements though. Just focused on Fire and Ice and was 1/1 after re-entering.

Eh, I did fine with a mix of magic/spellblades. Had 2 of each element except maybe lightning.

I managed to clear up to the ++ fight on my second account but Omni wrecked my shit. That's what happens when you lack levels, hones and RMs. I was stuck using Rydia as a filler BLM at level 46 with a couple of -gas that did less than 2k damage per cast.

I really wanted that MC2 lode. Oh well.
