First, it's Florida. Never trust Florida.

Second, it's like 51/49 Trump right now. She could easily win it.

Third, remember that Obama barely won it in 2012. She's not hugely outperforming him much of anywhere, it's not surprising it's close.

Apparently she's under performing Obama among Florida Hispanics of all people, but those should be getable votes for her with targeted campaigning.

i know it's often complicated for white people to grasp but a Hispanic is not a Hispanic is not a Hispanic and Cubans =/= Mexicans. i imagine a huge portion of Floridian Cubans would be fine with a wall on the Mexican border, and he has not especially alienated the Puerto Rican community (though the islanders trend heavily Democratic they appear to despise Clinton). there is certainly some notion of solidarity between salsa loving immigrant communities, but his showing among Latinos in Florida was never going to equal what it will be in the heavily Mexican western states.

Other than that I have a military family ( not myself). Although they know Hillary is the only choice, both my uncles who are closing in on the 20 years a little anxiety in what we think may happen.
