Until John Cena runs I'm not really going to be impressed by this train of thought of politicians wanting to help people for anything other than votes. Also I think Chelsea is a far worse child than either Ivanka or Tiffany but no idea if that can be chalked up to Trump/Hillary or in spite of them.

Also, equating Comey's press conference to decline to recommend charges (which was already unusually political protocol for the FBI) with the letter he just put out saying "well maybe there's something new, but honestly we have no idea!" is silly.

What Comey did, maybe he did because he was stuck between a rock and a hard place, but he did it very clumsily and in a way that pissed off a lot of the FBI's own field offices. It looks nakedly partisan and it reflects poorly on the FBI, because it's a whole clusterfuck of misinformation and it doesn't actually provide the public with any new tangible information.

In fact, I'd bet that this is more likely to end up with the FBI getting investigated over the circumstances of this disclosure (were there people pressuring Comey to put this out otherwise they would leak it anyway?) than this mattering at all to Hillary's email situation. It also seems awfully convenient that Rep. Chaffetz had a statement ready to go about it before anyone even knew about it. I wonder if he knew in advance that this was going to come out. He just re-endorsed Trump recently, after all.

Finally, there are going to be a shitload of oppo research stories coming out this week, likely starting tomorrow, so honestly by the end of the week this will probably be forgotten and a nonstory if Comey isn't going to give any new information to the public about this.

Sure, but if the sources from the Newsweek article I posted earlier are right, almost all should be duplicates since her aid was basically forwarding herself emails to print them out. So while it could be true that thousands may be tied to her server, it's misleading to just leave it at that.

The very idea is laughable because even if you want to work under the assumption that 100% of everything Hillary has ever done has been all about self-advancement, she still chose the route of trying to serve the country whereas Trump has done nothing but served himself to the detriment of others.

It's far too late in this game and there's too much information out there to pretend there's some kind of equivalency between the two.

I disagree with everything you said based solely off of how haiti was dealt with post disaster. Politics is her business no different than Trumps business is hotels and name branding. Just because politics happens to line up with a potential to help people more-so than real estate does not automatically mean that she is the more interested of the two in helping people.

By this logic you are saying that as long as you are a government employee then you "care" more. I've had many jobs, but my boss has never been a government employee and my life has been pretty epic. Not saying that you can't care as a government employee, just saying that it's not exclusive.

Trump may be 100% focused on wealth, but i'd say Hillary's focus is 70/30 Power/wealth with voters/constituents falling under the "tool" category.
