That twitter account is a really obvious sock puppet account. Pretty easy to spot them, whether they're Trump accounts or Hillary accounts.

Will be interesting to see what happens when the really bad Trump oppo drops. I'm sort of skeptical of how much of an effect it will have at this point, but if it's as bad as has been implied, the email stuff is going to be old news by the end of the week.

Unless whatever Hillary did was something that made me believe that, as a matter of pure consequences, her Presidency would lead to a worse world than a Trump Presidency, I wouldn't switch my vote. To me, the politicians as people matter zero beyond what they would do. Their past actions are only illuminating insofar as they will be predictive about how the candidate may act in the future.

In that respect, Trump's past behavior is important because it shows a lack on control and an inability to focus that make me believe he's unfit to serve as President., Moreover, it indicates that he will be beholden to the agenda of the "deplorables" throughout his term. I certainly don't approve nor condone the other things he's done or is alleged to do, but in terms of my decision making about who to vote for it doesn't factor in at all. I only play this "Well Y did this and that's worse than what X did" game because the person matters to the rest of you.

I don't disagree with him lacking any semblance of self control and political competence. As far as the beholden line, I genuinely don't think he would be beholden to anyone but his own will. Maybe a bill or two for Ivanka.

He's beholden to them insofar as he values being re-elected, but you're right he could just say YOLO and do what he wants.

Because if something really and honestly damaging came out about Hillary Clinton that really conflicted with my values, I would be persuaded not to vote for her. Because I actually give a shit about my core beliefs and the ideas that I think will move the U.S. in a better direction.

I think this is where the Republicans have hurt themselves the most, by throwing anything and everything at Clinton over the last decade. So many witch hunts that amounted to nothing, so if there was a real scandal discovered, people would just dismiss it. I'm not a fan of Clinton, but I do roll my eyes every time there is another accusation. None of them must be familiar with the boy who cried wolf.

Conspiracy theory time: I wonder if Clinton leaked the emails herself to wikileaks. Think about it, it's rather genius. You can't use those emails as evidence since they were attained illegally. At the same time, republicans and democrats alike can't claim that they're all real without admitting to the existence of ETI. If they claim that SOME of them are real, but not all, it means that the most damning mails may very well be fake too. And if some of the emails are fake, that really speaks a lot to the integrity and validity of previous wikileak leaks, as it means any one of them may be false.

Edit: No, I'm not saying that's what happened. But if they played it right it could be kind of genius.
