A 50/50 split in the FBI is pretty much an absolute no-go for attempting prosecution. If you have a 50/50 split on just investigation that means they already knew there wasn't much to be found.

That doesn't effect the actual amount of guilt involved, it's just that the federal government has a very high bar for pursuing a case.

Whether or not they find anything to prosecute I wonder if there will be any real fallout within the FBI or with the DoJ regarding all this info about ongoing investigations going public.

Even former FBI and Justice people have come out and said this stuff is unprecedented, you're not supposed to talk about ongoing investigations in the first place much less ones involving a presidential candidate within a week of the election.

Or fuck maybe the DoJ really is just covering for Hillary and there's people in the FBI trying to get this information out, it's all such a goddamn mess and we have so little actual information about the investigation that opposing narratives are just filling in all the blanks (which, again, is kind of why they're not supposed to be talking about it publicly to begin with).
