surprised trump didn't say "should've told the crowd to punch him in the face"

You wouldn't know that though because you've demonstrably never picked up a book nor educated yourself on the matter. Let me guess, overweight housewife?

Surprise! Melania worked as an illegal immigrant before she was legally allowed to do so in the US.

    https://apnews.com/37dc7aef0ce44077930b7436be7bfd0d

WASHINGTON (AP) — Melania Trump was paid for 10 modeling jobs in the United States worth $20,056 that occurred in the seven weeks before she had legal permission to work in the country, according to detailed accounting ledgers, contracts and related documents from 20 years ago provided to The Associated Press.
(No, I don't care that this is true, but it further highlights the hypocrisy of what Trump says vs what Trump does.)

Not surprising, that case had an uphill climb legally to begin with.

Looks like everyone's getting their last minute stories out before the weekend.

The company that owns the National Enquirer, a backer of Donald Trump, agreed to pay $150,000 to a former Playboy centerfold model for her story of an affair a decade ago with the Republican presidential nominee, but then didn’t publish it, according to documents reviewed by The Wall Street Journal and people familiar with the matter.

The tabloid-newspaper publisher reached an agreement in early August with Karen McDougal, the 1998 Playmate of the Year. American Media Inc., which owns the Enquirer, hasn’t published anything about what she has told friends was a consensual romantic relationship she had with Mr. Trump in 2006. At the time, Mr. Trump was married to his current wife, Melania.

http://mobile.nytimes.com/aponline/2...l-markets.html Stock market continues to slide on the prospect of Trump's election. Glad I held off on investing. Transferred money to a Vanguard account when Hillary was at a 90% prob on 538 and then was like ". . . but what if something happens?" I will probably be investing Wednesday or just moving the money back into a savings account based on the election outcome. Government bonds might be a good place to stash cash if I wanted to make money off this. If Hillary is elected, sell them and reinvest in the stock market. If Trump is elected, hold them while the price spirals upwards and then sell them before he makes us insolvent.

I'm pretty sure Trump winning would create a global market panic (at least as the immediate reaction).

Man, I don't know what to make of these MI/WI/NH polls that seemingly have him with a chance. My gut (based on underlying fundamentals and EV numbers) tells me these are garbage polls and we're still looking at a 5-7 point victory for Clinton, but the propaganda is so heavy right now.

If Trump loses it's almost certainly going to be because he gets absolutely wrecked by Hispanic voter turnout, especially in NV/FL.

Early voting data in 3 key states show spike in Latino turnout

    • Florida: At this point in 2008, 260,263 Latino voters, or 9.6% of the electorate, voted early. So far in 2016, that number has grown to 596,146, or 14.1% of all early ballots cast.
    • Georgia: At this point in 2012, 12,933 Latinos, or 0.9% of early voters, cast early ballots. In 2016, that number has increased to more than double at 31,623 people, or 1.7% of all voters who cast their ballot early.
    • North Carolina: At this point in 2012, 21,474 Latinos voted early -- about 1.2% of the electorate. So far this year, 37,591 Latinos have voted, a slight increase to 1.8% of early voters.

Yeah. The big question is how much of that is simply shifted from election day turnout to early voting. I think based on what we're seeing with EV, we're going to have problems in some states (AZ, NC, maybe NV?) with voting lines stretching for hours, but this is a huge blinking siren for Republicans about how the election could go.

I'm curious about the people who only lean Republican. Trump has turned off a lot of people that are Republicans as well, but all the talk about early voting just assume that Republican early votes are all for Trump (not that they can make any educated guesses otherwise). I'd be remiss if I didn't also acknowledge that Hillary has turned off some Dems as well. Will be interesting to see how many people voted against their registered party.

Well, polling has been pretty clear that Hillary is pulling a higher percentage of registered Dems than Trump is registered Republicans. I think Romney had something like 92% of registered Republicans. I think I'd be shocked if Trump pulled 80%.

I'm a registered Republican (since I live in KY and we are forever red, I want a say in who the GOP nominee is), so I skew those every cycle lol.

Not a Trump supporter but really? Someone with a holstered weapon in an open carry state is making the headlines? I dug up on this and found this:

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/...b0aac624846eb5

Judy Brown, Loudoun County registrar, confirmed that the man was standing outside her office in Leesburg and handing out GOP literature.

“There is a gentleman standing outside the office with a holstered gun,” Brown told HuffPost. “According to law enforcement, because Virginia is open carry, he’s allowed to have it.”

Brown noted that the man was “being nice” to people, and that he appeared to respecting the observed 40-foot no-canvassing zone outside of the entrance.

“They said that there’s nothing they could do, that he was well within his rights to be carrying his weapon,” Brown said.

Brown said her office contacted the local Republican Party, which got the man to agree to pull his Trump shirt over the weapon so people couldn’t see it. “Hopefully nobody else will be concerned about him,” Brown said.

Loudoun County Republican Committee Chairman Will Estrada told HuffPost that the man was a former law enforcement official and veteran with a concealed carry permit.

“’We don’t want to startle anyone,’” Estrada said he told him. “He felt really bad, he pulled his T-shirt over it, and I think everything was fine after that.”
I'd have a different stance entirely if he was openly threatening people, but a tweet about someone open carrying in an open carry state which has a large populace of armed civilians is lol.

    But if you continued on...

“We’re an open carry state, I get that. But he’s wearing a huge Trump T-shirt, he has a huge gun, and he was obstructing my exit on public property,” Cotti said. “That’s insane to me.”
Or better yet try wearing a T-Shirt showing support for your candidate at a polling place and tell me how it goes. (Hint: They'll probably tell you to wear it inside out in a bathroom).

And you connect the dots to such articles as say

    http://www.nydailynews.com/news/poli...icle-1.2855301

    http://www.vanityfair.com/news/2016/...er-suppression

    http://www.salon.com/2016/11/01/fede...rump-campaign/

In addition to the fact that the man isn't observing what's going on inside (He can't unless he wanted to violate laws) so he literally has no business to be standing around outside asking people if they're voting for "Crooked Hillary". Especially with a Trump T-shirt (Showcasing their preferred candidate) and with a fucking holstered gun because why the fuck not its open carry and they're a lifetime NRA member.

Would you like it if I waved a black dildo in your face and asked if you were voting for deplorable donald while wearing a nasty woman hillary t-shirt?

If I take anything out of these elections it's that when my side of things does something bad, it's an isolated incident that's overblown anyway. When your side does something bad, it's further proof of every heinous thing about them that can be believed.

I've also learned that not a single person on this forum with vocal support for Trump can explain why if you remove opposing Hillary from the equation.
