First post in this thread for me, but regarding trump voting, I'm an ironworker working on the roof right across the street from where he's voting. Cops are everywhere. We were trying to get a glimpse of trump when the NYPD starting pointing fingers and staring us down so we scattered.
Don't die.
Definitely got the booze. I also made a chocolate/coffee charlotte that I can celebrate with responsibly or gorge myself on in despair:
Spoiler: show
The choice is yours, America!
I have a lot of liquor in the house for tonight as well. My husband is a Trump supporter and one of us is going to be crying drunk tonight.
if he's a trump supporter i'm surprised you're not crying drunk every night
We stocked up on water and liquor so we are prepared at my house either way.
Are we doing http://www.slate.com/votecastr_elect...t_tracker.html in here?
From the roof across the street from Trump. There were a lot of boos, and plenty of people(my hardline Republican coworkers included) cheering the usual "lock her up".
McMullin. It might just be that he has less exposure than Johnson, but he's the least-insane person on the right, and while I'd prefer Hillary to Trump by *miles*, I felt secure enough with her (last I checked) 17 point lead in Washington to branch out.
Not that Washington matters to Conservatives-- they'll elect anyone with a D by their name, even with sub-40% approval ratings.
Most of the liberal criticism of Nate Silver has seemed kind of shill to me. But one criticism that I agreed with was his use of t-distribution instead of normal. While I understand the reasoning (more undecideds this year) it does increase the number of pretty much impossible results.
Magic underwear man is the least insane person on the right?
