what checks and balances are there going to be when they were pretty much ok with virtually all of the shitty things he's done and said so far? it's ridiculous to think the republican led congress that has fucked us for the past several years, has openly fostered an environment for a shitshow of racism, sexism, homophobia, you name it, etc. is gonna all of a sudden turn around and be our heroes.

That's the exact fucking mentality that got us here. Congratulations. I voted for Hillary to much of my fucking dismay. But this exact attitude is what got us where we are. Watching the news and Hillary spent no fucking money on getting the hispanic vote, didn't visit WI or MI for MONTHS. Some how she fucking lost the women vote which is shocking to me.

I don't think he'll be in there for more than one term. Obama was in for 2 terms and really didn't effect much change, at least not as much as he advertised, so I don't think much will happen.
