On a side note no matter what we have to deal with 4 years of hearing him talk. His speech patterns are the most irritating thing in the world. I can't stand the constant repetition of phrases it is like he has a tick or something. I couldn't even read the transcript of his speech from last night.

A Trump loss would have been an excuse for Paul Ryan to excise the extreme element from the Republican party.
A Trump victory means that not only are issues Democrats care very deeply about going to be under attack, but every lie, mistake, crime, etc, that he or his administration gets caught up in are now owned by the GOP. When Trump starts delivering on his promises and the consequences become clear, that's all on Republicans now.
A savvy DNC could turn this into major gains in 2018.
So I expect it to be a tight race against a still-Republican majority in 2020.

E-mails were an actual screw-up, but the real football it gave Trump was the ability to call her a liar due to her deposition where she claimed to not know how to tell documents were classified. So yeah, she lied sometimes when it suited her purposes but that was really the one example they could point to to call her "crooked Hillary" and invoke slimy Bill Clinton "that depends on what the definition of is is" imagery.

No one has ever found any evidence that she could have been expected to handle Benghazi better than she did (not for lack of trying), so I don't even know what character flaw that would be associated with. Same deal with the various other pay-for-play conspiracy theories that have basically failed to pan out. Even when you read the allegedly incriminating e-mails, they're always debating the optics of the situation rather than whether it's actually going to impact decisions.

There are two problems with Hillary Clinton:

• While one can understand her apprehension to the media, she also caused her own pain in the 90's with classic hits such as "Super Predator" & "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy"
• While true there is no real hard evidence for pay-for-play and other insidious conspiracies perpetrated by Clinton. Her inability to handle her position as was required, lie about her actions and strait up feign ignorance about things like remember briefings and training sessions doesn't really inspire confidence in many people that the person in question should then be promoted to an even higher position.

She was an incredibly flawed candidate, who received shit for competition in her primary.(save for ol' Bern who came out of no where) I honestly saw this coming way back in the primary. So many people do not feel like our political system works, and Hillary pretty much looks like she is the crowned replacement for Obama.

The death blow was Clinton deciding to run a campaign mostly focused on smiting Trump and trying to convince the progressive left that a Trump presidency was the end of humanity as we know it. Now the DNC has egg all over its face. Everyone is walking all of their rhetoric back saying things like "Trump wants to bring back jobs for the working man".

What we are left with is an ultra powerful Republican party sweeping both branches of congress, and the presidency after 4 terms of amassing power in the executive branch. A reshaped Republican party that adopts some of the left-wing mantra that union leaders eat up.

While the DNC is left broken, with little to no leadership. The Clinton dynasty smashed(hopefully they had a contingency plan for her loss, but by the look of it they did not) The centrists/globalist positions brought to the party by Bill Clinton waning, and the attempt at healthcare reform in shambles.

Anyone who is surprised today should go share some of that egg with the DNC.

"Super Predator" was essentially preaching to the choir in the incredibly anti-felon society that was the 1980s/90s.

"Vast Right Wing Conspiracy" was a woman denying her husband's infidelities, when the reality of their relationship may be more open than America is comfortable with yet today.

Your second bullet point is from the FBI info briefing, where she was lying her ass off (in unverifiable ways) to mitigate damages just as you or anyone would if accused of a crime that you really didn't want to be convicted of. Ironically, the only way you know what was said is because House republicans leaked them in violation of federal law. Are you suddenly going to care about whether they know what C means?


She was a fucking do-gooder her entire life and this was supposed to be her stage to do the best things she would ever did. Instead, we'll be ruled by Trump and she'll die sad because people can't get off their asses to vote.
