I have but two thoughts at the moment. The first is that you don't actually have a reason to have voted for Trump beside that he wasn't Hillary and are now desperately trying to deflect criticism away from the fact that every indication is that his Presidency will be an Obamacare-level disaster.

The second is that of course not all of his supporters are racist, misogynistic, or homophobic, or xenophobic, or what have you. It's just that everyone who IS also happens to be a Trump supporter. Don't take my word for it, ask the Ku Klux Klan or the American Nazi Party. Yeah, it sucks that Democrats are too full of themselves to reach out to the white working class and have created this impression of themselves as smug and "knowing what's best," but when someone legitimately has the backing of every major hate group in the nation, it's a good enough reason to overlook that failing on your party's part and get angry at that working class for voting that person in.

Is the difference not clear? In this case the candidate did nothing to dissuade those groups from supporting him.

By the way, have you heard about the voting rights act? It's so bad and we hate it. I'm also pretty sure we should have voter ID laws. By the way, we're not racist because we want to disenfranchise Democrats (who just happen to be minorities).



It's not really a "Trump supporter" problem. Republicans have been pursuing a calculated racist agenda for at least the last three decades. Are they doing it because they hate minorities? No, they're doing it because alienating minorities allows them to appeal to racists. Are the racists racist because they feel a particular animus for minorities? Some probably are, but many are probably racist for practical, non-competitive reasons. For instance, they think that excluding some people from the work force will help them get jobs. That doesn't make them not-racist, and it doesn't make the Republican party not the party of racists.


So Republicans at large are a terrible group. They include sexists, racists, and some I assume are good people (who are single-issue voters).

As an immigrant in the US I just find it hilarious that you guys think either Hillary or Trump give a shit about LGBT, racism, or any of these other issues. American politics and media are so dishonest and only pursue their own agenda, not your agenda.
