I agree with you up to the point where Palin and that Breitbart guy are being considered for cabinet positions. Oh and the point when he chose Pence as his running mate. They will aggressively and actively push legislation that infringes on peoples rights. I wish Republicans cared as much about the other amendments as much as they cared about the 2nd amendment.

It's never really been brought up though the ruling on whether the pledges themselves were allowed more or less state votes cannot be compelled... but different court these days so who knows. Most are fairly lenient though a small fine that most wouldn't care too much about or voiding it which given the push is to get Trump less votes wouldn't really hurt. A couple just replace the elector though.

Would be interesting. And honestly a part of me before the results were announced I was thinking Hillary wouldn't win but maybe neither would Trump... but realistically even if it went to the Republican House they certainly aren't going to vote Hillary so what hoping they do Johnson instead lol?

Most of us can compare our quality of life and the health of the nation between 2000 - 2008 vs. 2008 - 2016 in order to make a qualified assessment of what that means for 2016 - 2020/2024.

We can also make a distinction between past Republicans, who we can admit are qualified/capable even if we wouldn't ever vote for them, and Trump.
