My ls got 7 riddills in 7 days, lotted the 7th and got banned with bank 2hrs later. Ridill is the devil.

Well, I jokingly made the era query because a frequent post-Abyssea gripe is that everything just gets handed to the player now and there's no real accomplishment or distinction from one's peers, even though the RME grinds are still a thing, with JP around now, too. As is, I frequently rag on people who evoke terms like welfare and handouts when it comes to video games, as if things being accessible (and not cockblocked by competition/bots/exploits) is a bad thing. So, while the presumption by some is that people don't (want to) work for things, it's more like the critiqued are not doing the work they deem they should be doing. And most of the time you can bet that's just pure time sink and not so much skill-locked.

In a way, we could probably say XI shifted toward a more socialistic progression scheme, whereas the totally free capitalistic style back in the day gave rise to RMT and other shady behaviors that SE had to work at trimming away, and likely in a time frame few of us preferred (aka not fast enough). For those managed to be at top back then, XI life could certainly be good, but for everyone else? Well, the less aware they were about the realities of endgame, the more they probably enjoyed the game.

My biggest problem with the hnmls scene back in the day before everyone started low manning was I was in the Navy... and pretty much all the ones that I could find would have rules about attendance based lotting. So when a couple dozen guys showed up to 10 events a day my little 1-2 hours of day only got me bored at camping stuff while being told I should feel glad to not being able to lot and to somehow gain more levels/gear but better not miss any events while I was on lol

Meanwhile, out in Portland, Oregon, 112 anti-Trump protesters were arrested for violent demonstration.
When their names were compared to voting records by the local news station, it turned out of those 112 people, 35 hadn't returned a ballot and another 35 hadn't even registered to vote. 70 out of a hundred protesters hadn't even bothered to vote.
25 were confirmed as having voted.
The station was still working on the remaining 17.

As HNMLS leader it's honestly hard to do anything about members like this, shepard was EOD and always disappearing for months at a time to do shit. Only bright side was the LS was so maxed out that it didn't matter much until updates came out. I was the kinda nigga makin jorm/hydra events to stave off my boredom too lel, members didn't like missing my random event points. Abyssea killed DKP, but it also killed ffxi.

Hofralien, Haha stayed true from day 1 til I left. The TW players only loyalty was to me I suppose not the ls. You got the ring rathian was flippin shit about not getting after only being in ls for a month I think.
