For vice president, Clinton's running mate Tim Kaine received eight votes and then there was one vote each for Elizabeth Warren, Susan Collins, Maria Cantwell and Winona LaDuke.

That's in order: Massachusetts Democratic senator, Maine Republican senator, Washington senator, and Ralph Nader's Green party VP candidate in 1996 and 2000.

Seriously though, going Winona LaDuke for VP has to chap Jill Stein's ass just a little bit.

Even if people were holding out for impeachment, wouldn't the actual length of time to get it started would be several months and the actual trial/deliberations take years anyway due to poor judicial practices? Somewhat serious question.

Mike Pence is more dangerous only because he's a better second term candidate. He, along with the cabal of every special interest group that fits in the administration, will be running the show anyway.

The danger is that a Trump impeachment would make it official and give Pence more opportunities to look presidential before the 2020 election.

On the flip side, if Trump gets impeached, every republican who knew about his past, and still took a knee and kissed the ring is going to get dragged on down with him. Pence would be dogged so hard with the "You worked with him for four years, why did you not advise him that this would get him impeached, you obviously had to know and went along with it".

Trump getting impeached and then resigning or being removed from office would be very damaging to the Republican party. It's very unlikely.

To paraphrase Krandor, are you making the assumption that people here approve or partake in that kind of behavior? I don't speak for anyone else but I think that kind of thing is just as unacceptable as what's happening to Eichenwald.
