RIP USA
North Carolina: Clinton 42%, Trump 42% (Civitas)
Texas: Trump 39%, Clinton 32% (Texas Lyceum)
Ohio: Trump 42%, Clinton 39% (Suffolk)
Virginia: Clinton 40%, Trump 37% (University of Mary Washington)
Iowa: Trump 45%, Clinton 37% (Monmouth)
Michigan: Clinton 42%, Trump 38% (Michigan Free Press)
Colorado: Trump 42%, Clinton 38% (Emerson)
Georgia: Trump 46%, Clinton 42% (Opinion Savvy)
HRC needs to hold Pennsylvania and New Hampshire; she can lose Iowa, Nevada, Ohio, Florida and one of the Maine votes and still win by 272-266 if she keeps those (along with the "safe" Obama states like Wisconsin and Michigan)
I honestly cant believe this is happening right now.
I'm not surprised people forgot shit. I'm just surprised it took less than a month for it to happen.
You guys need to come to the realization that racism is as prevalent as ever, and Trump is accepting these people, and enabling them. This is bringing the previously suppressed and closeted racism to the forefront. With Trump saying all the stuff he says, people are no longer fearful of saying the things they have been thinking/saying in private. Polls are not going to stay with a huge gap one way or the other this election.
Here's a very good argument that the fault of all the whiny Bernie or Bust / Never Hillary voters too.
http://www.vox.com/2016/9/15/1291980...-polls-tighterLambasting Trump while being unpopular herself would be a clear winning strategy in a zero-sum head-to-head race. But in a four-sided race, where the two lesser candidates aren’t receiving much scrutiny from the press or the campaigns, it tends to have the side consequence of pressing a lot of people to Johnson or Stein. The fact that there are two different third-party candidates in the race — one for people who think Clinton’s too left and one for people who think she’s not left enough — makes it really difficult to avoid bleeding voters.
If polls stay very tight or Trump pulls into a lead, then anti-Trump messaging to Johnson and Stein voters could take the form of classic warnings about spoilers and wasted votes. But the fact that Clinton has been consistently leading in the polls — and in August was doing so by a large margin — has itself undercut purely tactical arguments for voting Clinton. If she is overwhelmingly likely to win, which is what people have been hearing, then you may as well not vote for her if you don’t like her.
So once again, learn, live, grow up, and vote the party line.
The best way to get people to see your viewpoint is to be an ass?
Your a perfect example of why people stay away from the Hillary crowd. The inability to discuss without belittling their audience. The Hillary can do no wrong and there is to be no discussion on any topic revolving anything negative about her despite what we see is basically a deterrent.
Learn to be civil, you may reach more people that way.
Edit: Frankly I'm done with this farce, America has to be the laughingstock of the world.
Its been 6 weeks since the convention. If one of the causes was Bernie Sanders than her approval rating would've gone up when he gave up his delegates.
"For a stable lead, Clinton needs to be liked."
And while I will cast my support for her. I don't like her. And a lot of us are in that same position. Democrats are notorious for losing in elections with low turn out and Hillary isn't really exciting democrats by trying to appeal to republicans.
Bernie adopted GOP tactics and waged a war on her character and spent months telling young voters that "It doesn't have to be the establishment choice" which is now bolstering idiots voting for Stein or otherwise voting their "conscience"
What discussion is there to be had? There is no revolution coming. Voting your conscience gets us things like Bush 43 and eight years of running the country into the ground. Yet Busters want to be "principled." With such irrationality being demonstrated, what's the point? Discussion is pointless when it has no chance of affecting decision making.
In most people's cases, it's not that she does no wrong it's that it's foolish to get fixated on things that are minor flaws that register about 3-4 on the scale when all alternatives besides supporting her result in someone who regularly registers 10/10 getting to trash the country for four years. The Hillary can do no wrong and there is to be no discussion on any topic revolving anything negative about her despite what we see is basically a deterrent.
In my personal case, yes I don't think there's anything wrong to be concerned about because I'm more than okay with dirty politics; even if it's only for the lightest shade of blue.
The means are never NOT justified by the ends.
This generation needs another Nader because it's a decade too young, and even that might not be enough. I'll stick to chastisement that way at least I get something out of it besides the frustration. The paid Hillary staffers can be "professional"Learn to be civil, you may reach more people that way
It's always media, some minority group of bernie or bust etc, it couldn't possibly be that she's almost uneletectable? Couldn't be about half of America doesn't trust her? She should be fucking embarrassed at the polls.
Grow up and vote the status quo they say.
I wonder if you even read the article you so selectively quoted. Heres a better quote from it:
But the fact remains that her basic problem in this race is almost painfully simple. Over the course of her winning primary campaign she became a deeply unpopular figure. And it’s hard — indeed, unprecedented — for such an unpopular person to win the presidency.
Democrats...idealism trumps pragmatism. Pun fucking intended.
Who is people? Republicans? You're surprised one side of the aisle is attacking prominent figures on the other side? None of the presidential candidates in history were "attacked" like that? Come on man. Mcains health, Obamas Birth Cert, people (idiots) were calling this dude a Muslim all over the country. He's still standing, he was electable, pretty sure he could beat Donald fucking Trump.
Really? Is that why we put the candidate in that was polling worse against Trump? All this time I heard "No way Bernie will be president, must vote Hillary, only way to beat Trump"
Here we are looking all pragmatic.
It should also be noted, and pretty obvious, that the rhetoric, divisiveness, and polarity of this election is amped up more than any election in our lifetimes.
