Do you actually support Clinton, or is it just a case of Never Trump? And if a Clinton supporter, is there a point where you can no longer support her? Would you ever draw a line in the sand that you won't cross out of your own sense of idealism? If so, you just have a higher tolerance than other voters out there, but it doesn't make you any better than them.

Have you read his book? It's not so much excessively great detail as it is when Scalia says something patently false (such as textualism does not mean that you have to believe Brown v. Board of Education was wrongly decided) he just talks a lot in circles hoping you get lost.

Scalia was basically the legal equivalent of Derrida. Write so badly that no one understands you and hope that means people think you're profound.

If I ever came to honestly believe that the consequences of an HRC Presidency would be worse than that of a Trump Presidency. For example, I wouldn't care if Hillary would kill 1,000,000 people so long as I believe that Trump would kill 1,000,001. Outside of the consequences being equally bad, there is no point at which I would find it morally/ethically acceptable to vote third party vs. the lesser of the two evils.

However the state of the two parties plus my world view means that a Democratic candidate almost always creates a better world than a Republican one, so honestly the choice is never a hard one.

Here's a shocker. I'm honestly much closer politically to Bernie than I am to Hillary if we're talking "ideal" worlds. But ideals don't get you elected. I'd much rather have a third way moderate Democrat who gets elected than lose the White House because the country isn't ready for a progressive.
