and that's one of my reasons for thinking of 2 r3s instead of a r4. Stuff doesn't last long enough to warrant it. There are fights where I can use up 6 charges of SC, but mobs rarely last much longer than that... for Agrias I'd usually have LS for the 2nd slot and I could put Banishing Strike for every other Knight.

But yeah, I'm mostly wondering whether or not another SC is even worth it or if I should just save the orbs for another skill. If the Age of Holy ends soon then there's no real need for a 2nd one considering it is a 5* skill.

Well, it depends... The nightmare dungeons should arrive in 6 months with 255 boss and 3 stages of trash mobs before that will even survive a 9999 Meteor, r4 might be worth it for that. But for now I'd say 2 r3 would be better - or even save for another skill.

Personally, my rule of thumb for honing is "if I don't need it right now, save".

Not difficult at all, but considering I have 6-7* Tactics synergy out the wazoo that wasn't surprising.

I do love the work put into the Tactics events though. So faithful to the source material.

Tactics events are always the best. It's such a long story it's sad they water it down to Lucavi scraps.

Easiest CMs ever. Making me use 2 of my most OP characters lol

Probably the easiest Ult+ so far too. I used cure once the whole fight. Aside from poison not a single one of his debuffs landed except when Yuna got stopped once for about .5 seconds.

    Spoiler: show

Was I the only one that expected the level to spin upward and fade out every time I heard the victory theme? LOL

What medals did you lose, 2 KO 1 damage? or 2 damage 1 KO?

4 dead has to be 2 KO Medals lost. Im guessing the last one is damage taken.

While I 1/1'd on +, I must've got a mean one on the RNG since there was a point where everyone was below 20%. FB/MBD on, but have no break-friendly SBs.

Easy ultimates, no medals lost at all and I don't really have much sinergy for Tactics. In comparison the Mandragoras in the Nightmare dungeon were far more annoying.

got through The Story Starts+ (missed mastery because a) forgot to break a squire's attack and b) MM killed Kuja at the very last second fuuuuuuuck. will get mastery later; that was exhausting)

plan for Confronting The Dark Knight++ is:
    Shantotto nukes like mad
    Kuja nukes like mad
    Agrias heals and Protectga
    Faris breaks power and resistance
Selphie heals and Dreamstage should help block some of the Time Mage's bullshit

that leaves me without a spot for silence, though :/ maybe leave Mental Breakdown at home and use Silence Buster on Faris? but that limits my damage. I'd also like to fit a slow in there somewhere...

not sure about RW; Shout is not so useful when most of my damage comes from magic. so maybe Quistis, Garnet, or IDK whoever happens to be up at the time (RW refresh when?)

I'll figure something out, in any case. I need those MC2s

if your damage is coming primarily from casters, try getting some edward RW's for song of swiftness, haste and MAG+30%. if you don't have any in your list already let me know and i can swap to it for a bit, friend code is rge2.

If your aim is getting MC2s, don't worry about the mastery. Don't bother with the silence.
Selphie with Curaja + Protecga - Dr Mog's Teachings/Mako Might if you have it
Agrias with damage abilities (Launch, Pound, Banish Strike, Drain Strike anything for damage)
    Shantoto magic dps
    Kuja nuke
Faris Full Break + Mental Breakdown

    RW MG8
If you have another physical dps, replace Shantoto. Also you can Poison Gaffgarion.

I have no idea what SBs or hones you have so I can only get some makeshift group makeups.

All I can say is Pecil's BSB is pretty OP.

    Kill shot:
    Spoiler: show

    Setup:
    Spoiler: show

    Medals:
    Spoiler: show

Pecil summoned the RW and used the burst commands until burst mode ran out then I used paladin force to get enholy and keep burst mode up. Then spammed SC/lifesiphon during the rest of the first 50% of the bosses health to build up a bunch of SB gauges to burst him down.

Y'sh just did white mage things and made sure that slow was removed asap because that was one of the worst status effect for a run like this. I did have her attack a few times in the beginning of the fight since she didn't have anything else to do and I had to keep building SB gauge for her to keep SSII up.

thanks to Moridam and synistar for the tips. I brought Magic Breakdown instead of Mental Breakdown... and won anyway >_> I might go back for mastery, Mental Breakdown + silence would get me there. Song of Swiftness helped a lot

suppose I'll go for the MC2 lode now; can't be that much worse

Again, don't worry about mastery for the +++ fight. Not needed for the lode. If you can fit in a slow (Tempo Flurry, Slowga) then nice, but otherwise, focus on the main guy. Will need both Protectga + Shellga most likely to survive. Best to RW hastemarch and fit in Shellga/Protectga on Agrias/Selphie.
