If I were a 'Bama fan I would honestly skip the playoff game and just splurge on the championship game. Unless you can swing both, in which case go have fun.

I'd have to skip the championship game, mostly because I can't get out of work. Plus Phoenix is a 4 hour flight vs. a 2 hour drive to Atlanta. And it's more likely that I will have friends go to Atlanta, too.


Looks like I'll spend as much, if not twice as much, on the hotel than I did on the ticket.

The championship game is in Tampa, not Phoenix. Not sure if that makes a lot of difference on where you'd be coming from. Light the Zetanio signal and he'll find you a cheap hotel.
