Ended up pitying Lenna's EX, but at least I got it (one of the pulls was all bronze + a King 15 lol). Should have enough gems to pity Rinoa when she comes and then I'm out. Furiously flinging all my tickets at Cloud's EX since I didn't manage to get it last banner either.

They are being really generous with the resources this summer event though.

Rinoa tonight. I ran the gacha simulator and altema and got it first pull so I'm pretty sure that means I'm going to get nothing but Irvine until I hit the pity wall

We got the update that allows you to recruit characters from pulling their weapons on banners if you don't have them already. This means we could get some surprises in the new summer banners as they can put any character they want in there :D
Also orbs now can stack up to 9999.

JP stuff for July!
-Seymour and Papalymo getting reworks and EX+,
-Beatrix finally joins and she gets EX+ alongside her buddy Steiner (who is also getting reworked),
-Vayne EX+ and Pecil EX+ (Pecil reworked, Vayne nope),
-New chapter featuring Bartz, Galuf and Leo(!!!). Rework for Galuf and EX+ for him and Leo.
-Exdeath+ mistery character getting EX+ (guessing Lenna? She's the only FFV character without it)
-Fran EX+ and Ashe EX+
-Selphie is also getting reworked alongside a new type of event, probably getting EX+ as well.

Surprised you pulled with gems if you weren't looking to pity her, honestly. At least that's my motto now.

I usually skip most of the event dialogue, but read them for FFV-XI generally. I liked this scene too.

Took me 9 multis for Rinoa ex. Got 4 copies of her 15 and 35 along the way so I ended up banking a ton of powerstones.

Apparently they're adding a shared point system to summon boards in JP in late July! That sounds great for farming.

Ugh after like a total of 7 multi and ton of tickets, I finally pulled Lenna EX, no 35 tho lol.
I'm all tapped out of gems now, but that probably for the best, I've pressed my luck recently and I fear for all my future pulls.

Considering we do get JP QOL adjustments asap, I'm praying they give us this when they drop Shiva Ultimate. Would make life 10000x easier to not have to drag weak characters to it.

It's possible but in the JP announcement they specifically mention that this change is being implemented because of the huge number of boards now (they have 6). I'm kinda expecting the shared points to be less than what you gain in battle but it's still a bonus as you won't have to cycle through every single character.
They're also increasing the base gain from 100 to 150 so with all bonuses that's 900 points per battle. Double books will be just as efficient as current triples.

Finally had some luck and got Rinoa EX after 3 multis hooray \o/

Now if only I could nab that Cloud EX...been 100+ tickets so far and no dice yet.

As for the QoL, there's a couple important things we haven't gotten yet. An auto button for making artifacts, and an auto button for filling a summon board (minus the treasures and ability nodes). I would hope that we get those soonish. I don't expect to see us get summon board combo points as early as Shiva though.

My growing gambling compulsions made me get a Rinoa ticket somewhere about 70 tickets and 2 multipulls in. Thankfully I still have my 100 ticket stash for the Lulu banner so that I can get Jecht EX. I'm doing a bad job of racking up another 75k buffer for lion EX but i'm optimistic about the combination of Lenna and Rinoa (once the Lulu banner hopefully gives me power stones out the ass while i hunt for ex) being able to break new content.

I have to say... If you have Rinoa, Lenna and Vayne you will not need anyone else outside of an occasional dispeller. Vayne definitely shouldn't be slept on though.
