Sherlotta is tomorrowish. Ultimecia is around a month from now which is another 30k gems or so in the meantime. Leviathan boards is coming soon as well so that's also gems. Lilisette will be next, in ~2 months (late Nov-sometime in Dec?) and there's a big gap between her and Arciela, something like 3 months probably.

Got Sherlotta EX on the pity pull, so that's an extra slap in the face. At least it evens out the amazing luck I had earlier this month. Should hopefully be close to Ultimecia pity with this month's events and Levi board.

Well, while my GL account had to pity Sherlotta, my JP account got lucky chasing after Squall EX and LD.

I also had to pity Sherlotta, but honestly don't feel all that bad about it considering I pulled Aerith and Lion EX a few days ago. On to Ultimecia...!

I'm regretting using my old powerstones on WoL 35 after i grabbed his ex since I'm still under a severe shortage I may have to dump tickets into leon's banner since there's no way in hell I can afford to powerstone so many weapons. (random Leon Ex. It's actually good enough to warrant a powerstone if i can get him all the way.)
I forgot to say this before, but i was not expecting Ramza to have a crush on Aphmau. I know her victory post is actually just an ffxi emote, but I can't stop laughing at it every time because it always looks like she's in full "come at me BRO" mode.

Grats all on Sherlotta. Wasn't originally going to try for Lion, but used a friend's a few times while doing summon boards for Aphmau/Sherlotta, and pulled the trigger because light skillchain. Now I have another cursed character I need to work on, and Serah is only 2/3 on hers <,<

Next pull is Ultimecia then best FFXI girl Lilisette I think.

Since Chaos and EX+ has arrived, just a PSA: You don't need to master Chaos to get the 1/4 EX+ Ingot reward, so if you have trouble with Chaos (very likely, especially with early Chaos), just use gem revives to clear it. Nuggets ARE worth a couple hundred gems, they are still on JP a major bottleneck.

Also, in regards to Bursts: I have Squalls and it is lackluster compared to his LD in terms of power. Now don't get me wrong, burst mode is still helpful and nice, but LD is indeed the EX+ like powercreep and not burst. For example, Garland LD gives base 120% + ATK just for MLB. That's not counting the extras on it (free ability uses on other abilities, DEF/SPD debuff Aura, etc).

Also, yeah 0.1%/3% is low, but remember, RNG gonna RNG. I just spent 200 tickets on Garland and got 4! dupe Squall bursts, 4 Seph EX, 3 WoL EX, Garland LD. Still chasing his EX /shrug.

Managed to beat Chaos on my first try, but have to go back and redo, since I was 9 turns over. Played it a little too safe, since it was our first chaos.

89 Turns:

Cloud: EX+ (2/3)

Sherlotta's damage was pitiful on every round. Her debuff was nice though. Cloud did very well, obviously. WoL did decently as well, just wish his damage was a little better on wave 1. Kinda tempted to remove Sherlotta on the next try and slot in Ramza, but I'd have to C70. If there's enough yellow crystals from now til Lilisette, I'll do Ramza right away.

Sherlotta is a slow burn, big burst character. She only has 4 bursts to give, but they can be hefty, esp in a summon. Her debuff is huge though, and she has practically unlimited uses of it. Not to mention the boost her EX gives to your other party members. It's more than the equivalent of having 3 Max brv+330 arts on each one. She's really the sum of her parts.

Serah is good in Chaos without EX+ for similar reasons, strong debuff and party buffs. In some of these upcoming chaos fights any kind of sap, poison or gravity are going to be so important.

Personally I haven't touched the new content yet, I'm working on gussying up my roster and consolidating its power at the end of the 60 era before I jump into worrying about Chaos era. Still have a few characters sitting at level 1 and rather get them all to 60 (I can't wait to get stamina pots for leveling up instead of a reset stamina bar). After I clean out the rest of the content and rewards I'll start tackling the heretic.

Did 83 rounds of chaos with Cloud, WoL, and Ramza. These three make it a breeze and if I play better in can probably shave off 10 turns. I had so many skills left at the end from being conservative.

Threw 100 tickets and got Garnet and Decil ex. Decil is no joke now. If I had Selphie I'd run them together for sure.

Completed Chaos in 79 turns with all missions with WoL, Sherlotta, and 2/3 EX+ Cloud with 3/3 MLB EX+ Cloud friend. Saved most abilities for final wave and swapped out Sherlotta for friend Cloud during summon for Max damage. Cloud also had WoI so that helped to dispel annoying buffs.

Also pulled Leon EX with tickets, so saving all tickets now for Ultimecia. (I'll probably blow them on Fang/Garland though).

You need to EX+ another weapon, such as a dupe Cloud or a Vincent. If you wait until Sunday, you can get the last ingot needed without EX+'ing another weapon.

I've been running the cosmos coop with Decil since I lucked into his Ex and he's all kinds of amazing. His launch during summon is totally busted.

Stronger than Cloud, but I could see why he's not great for chaos.
