Anyone who’s still playing, Tifa banner is out and jesus christ the damage she dishes out is so over the top. Tryinf to min/max her as much as possible with the limitations i have. Got around 742k max damage with her LD ability alone after buffs.

Bruh I played with a Tifa today and wtf thats a stupid amount of damage on that LD. Everytime I gear up a hero they're power creeped out of the Meta lol.

Necro for those still playing:

BT+ is now out, Zidane and Y’shtola are the first 2. Since i had Y’shtola’s kit already, going to green her once the community finishes doing the event for the free i got. To those still playing, login today as we’re going to be getting a Tome to upgrade your BT to BT+ and 3 free ingots (1 from realizing with the book) so you can go full 3/3 green. Going to be putting up Y’shtola as a friend unit soon.

Lufenia+ difficulty is also unlocked with Divine Pandemonium! Downing the Lufenia+ will net you a free BT+ tome, which i’m saving for Ace or Bartz BT+

In other news, JP just got Prishe BT+ with her LD doing Asuran Fists, she is dishing out almost 1mil dmg with her LD alone, just beating Tifa in damage all around! Expect her in GL over the summer!

I think my BT characters right now are..

Squall, Cloud, Lightning, Bartz, Ardyn. I'd say my go to team is the first 3. Sadly missing Ardyn's LD. Of those, Squall and Cloud are the most "complete" weapon wise, while Lightning's only missing having her EX fully maxed.

I only play sporadically, but it's nice to hop on.

Now time to hop on and delete all the stupid notifications.

Edit: Welp, free multi-pull got my Y'shtola BT. Yay?

Yshtola rework is really good, but i think if you’re not tackling lufenias, the next BT+ is Bartz/Ace, and it’s stated they’re both S Tier, more Bartz than Ace. Like Zidane, Ace is getting both his LD and BT in the same banner.

You’ll also have another chance at Ardyn’s LD since his BT+ is expected by late november/early december. He’s being paired with Jecht, who is getting both his LD and BT as well.

Cid Raines is coming in the event after Guy’s Lost Chapter, if you pair him with Aphmau, they become unstoppable. Hopefully you can pull on Aphmau for that sweet LD.

Here’s the list of upcoming pairs of BT+ realizations, each BT unit has their full kit and is paired with another unit that has an LD:

Yshtola (rework) paired with Rinoa LD+ Zidane (rework) paired with Beatrix LD (current banners)

Bartz paired with Faris LD + Ace paired with Kimahri LD (rework)

Vayne (rework) paired with Iroha LD + Cloud of Darkness (rework) paired with Strago LD

Lann + Rein (rework) paired with Sabin LD + Garland (rework) paired with Rosa LD

Jecht (rework) paired with Jack LD + Ardyn (rework) paired with Arciela LD

Caius (rework) paired with Selphie LD (rework) + Golbez (rework) paired with Balthier LD

Lotta good banners coming up between these. The rewards are supposed to guarantee us 1.5 BT+ 3/3 per month, but we are getting 4 BT+ eligible realizations per month. So it’s good to do research for who you want to green. I alreadt have my greed Y’shtola and put her up as a friend unit. 1mil damage baybeee!

I'm gonna post the predicted calender for GL, this is based on the banners that happened in JP, it's mostly 98% accurate (Aphmau came 3 weeks early)

Nice; I know Ardyn was a meme back in the day, but he looks fun. I'm trying to take the angle of 'characters that seem like fun'. I slept on the game a few days, so sadly I wasn't able to go all in on Exdeath's banner (got his LD, but not BT).

Of the ones you've listed there, that Caius banner looks nice since I like both Caius and Golbez (still gotta give a nod to you all for urging me to go all in on the start dash banner).

The Bartz/Faris banner seems solid; I didn't get all of Bartz's stuff (missing either his..EX, or LD? I'd have to check).

What's Y'shtola's shtick anyway? Just straight damage, or damage and heals/debuffs?

My limited understanding of the folks I regularly use:

Squall: Solid damage all around
Cloud: Crit monster.
Lightning: Shit ton of turns.
Bartz: Straight damage/elemental damage (if that matters?)
Ardyn: ZANNEN! (zombie man).

Yshtola with the rework now does multiple hp attacks with Misery, Scion Holy now resets break and rebreaks enemy and gives an instant turn for Yshtola. Scion Holy also gives 3 blood lilies instead of 1, and her Scion Aero now does multiple HP attacks. Pulse of Life (EX) is a huge heal+brv gain and revives characters. Her BT ability now gives unreal amounts of buffs but mainly it’s a exceed max brv dmg and hp dmg buff for the whole party iirc of the top of my head.

It’s good to plan accordingly with what’s coming up in BT+, Bartz is definitely a beast of a banner. Bartz is not really much of a damage dealer but more like unreal amounts of utility. Bartz LD wipes an enemy brv to 0 which is perfect for specific enemies, on top of having a ton of other brv shave abilities plus i think he wind enchants himself. His BT ability has a lot of utility with high damage.

Remember this always tho, always aim for the LD, don’t try to always aim for the BT. You can get tokens for a free BT/EX/35/15, but for an LD, it needs to be pulled or pitied, and LDs make or break the kit for your character, especially because it gives you access to the LD board thru training points which has the gold call ability which helps immensely in fights (ex. Amidatelion gold call has a Brv sap to 0 + deletes an enemy turn).

Edit: the prediction schedule i posted this is up to May, however, expect Prishe LD/BT+ in June.

Also in February it’s predicted for Crystal level 90, so a huge level cap increase and lufenia power creep.

Edit 2: WOO! Finally caught up to all content and got my crystal nameplate!!

And thanks! Good to know! I was honestly more bummed I missed Ardyn's LD than BT. I do need to go back and look back at my LD characters, cause I think I have a few of those but not the BT (Exdeath being one example..). I remember being relieved when I finally landed Squall's LD.

And damn, guess I'll have to go hard on Y'shtola. I've always liked her as a character anyhow, so time to clear some content for some gems, it seems.

I think Yshtola for the most part can solo all of hard mode story and lost chapters up to enemy lvl 150, maybe some 180 if it favors her kit.

Welp, got all of Y'shtola's weapons from the banner. At 180 GC, so could either do another pull and hope for dupes + 200 GC to spend on whatever.

Unfortunately Aphmau’s banner is gone, but if you got her kit, score. Cid Raines banner is worth going for. However, Bartz and Ace just released in global with BT+ along with DE Transcendence 5. Holy hell the last boss is troublesome. I want those 10 BT+ nuggets tho.

Yea Bartz is super strong.

Just beat Transcendence 5, jesus that Lufenia+ fight at the end really was tough!

Now i have a Green Ace! Put him up as friend unit. Thinking of tokening Vayne if i don’t pull him. And if i do, i’ll token Lann + Rayne, and going to green my big dick dps boi Garland when he gets his BT+. Now it’s time to save up for me!

Raines can roughly do 1mil damage per turn due to his unique launch. Put him with high brv units for hp attacks, and he gets the final attack in the air after he launches.
