Cloud's cross slash with paralyze is practically a delete button vs non-boss enemies, and his paralyze is super great to have on bosses. Vaan is capable of pulling out clutch BRV breaks along with a high level of damage thanks to his red spiral/white whorl. Laguna is supposed to be one of the best chars in the game later on after buffs but idk how he is now, haven't seen anyone play him yet. I'd prioritize leveling Cloud and Vaan at least for upcoming events and you might want to dump some levels into Yuna as well or have a few friends who have Yuna set as Esuna is sometimes indispensable for certain fights (morbols ugh).

I'm swimming in weapon and armor orbs and have nothing let to put them in. Does the game let you know when you've maxed out your orbs? I know that you can manually count them in your inventory but screw that.

Well, that was mildly depressing.... I got finished maxing out Cloud's weapon. and halfway through Shanttoto..... than ran out of gil, lol. :/

If you are willing to wait till Sun, you can use a gil booster book and do the gil dungeon daily, doing lvl 50 will get you 8k gil per run. Or you can use a cycle key, but with the 2x crystal campaign ATM, I wouldn't advise it.

Yeah, I'm getting where I can. Just ran Chapter 3 Hard, netted me about 50k, but 10 minutes later it's gone again, lmao.

I dunno if it tells you when you're maxed out, but I think there's some mechanic coming that's going to let you trade armor orbs in for gold armors for certain characters. At least that's what I hear, so they may be useful to you down the road.

Those are armor medals and they are coming with the Balthier event this Sun. They are separate from armor orbs and are usually the reward for achieving 1 mil in event MP Co-op (events will have their own co-op). You can exchange 1 medal for 1 5* armor for a story character.

Holy shit, just did Setzer's LVL. 50 dungeon with LVL 50 Yshtola, LVL 50 Shanttoto, and LVL 38 Cloud.... that shit is no joke.... Only made it as far as 50% on the last boss. Since it ends in a couple days though, I said screw it and blew 100 gems to finish off the last 50%. That fight was just evil, though... first time I felt I should use gems to finish a fight.

I also had problems with that one, although most people said it was way easier than the two before it... it definitely depends on your comp. I ended up using Cloud for the paralyze on cross-slash which basically won me the fight (of course by this time I also had Lv20 Ifrit which helps immensely).

My Ifrit is only LVL 6 right now. But yeah, Cloud's paralyze did proc a few clutch times.

Thanks to my small stockpile of keys and exp books, I have 7 characters left to level to 50, they're all currently above 30.

Small tip regarding armor tokens: do NOT buy armor for Squall, Vanille, Setzer or any other character released through events if you have two copies already. When these come back with the permanent versions of their story events you will get two more copies to max them out. Use these for your story characters instead.

I really want Setzer's weapon but the banner is going away today and I don't want to spend precious gems on that banner again cause I got burned yo. Last time I got Yuffie's weapon... XD I have a good Hope boomerang for Setzer to use but it's just not the same.

Pulled twice on Balthier banner. 1 Balthier gun and 3 Edge katanas. Is Edge any good?

I caved and pulled 2 more times for a total of 4 Balthier guns, 4 Edge katanas and 1 Terra sword.

Don't do what I did and waste your bells on the low level events. The true co-op stuff is after stage 5 of the Balthier event.

Beware of the lvl 70 Balthier co-op, it is WAY harder them lvl 60 co-op, you face TWO Omegas at once, people reported that they can instant break and wipe at start if they gang up and apparently only the lvl 70 counts toward the co-op points.

Really hope they fucked up and added a extra by accident.

Laguna and Balthier are beasts in it. I'm not sure how to possibly beat it in 50 turns, but I managed to beat it on my 2nd go. Scratch that, 2 Terras and 1 Balthier took it out in 39 turns, but it wasn't on my bell. The HP thing might be harder to hit... probably need to group up with people you know who won't do retarded things to get it done. Ifrit x2 and a Ramuh summon seems to make the most sense.

Another sidenote, Balthier is hilariously broken on the level 60 co-op when you can steal those 15 turn buffs and the rate is extremely high with his weapon.
