Yeah. this boss is pretty easy, his HP is really low, did one with Bartz/Yda/Eiko(me), boss summoned the adds once and we still kill it in only 34 turns. I've noticed there are a lot more people in this co-op that like to give the adds free breaks though. -.-

Looks like theres a strat that let's you kill after the 1st adds die if all 3 people have Chocobo leveled high enough. Within 20 turns with 3 LVL 20 chocobos and good players.

Lvl 20 chocobo sounds like a nightmare right now with the current drop rates lol.

Its actually 11+ chocobo since that gives it an increase to summon cooldown. Can farm 6-16 Hard for mats.

I had a bad few runs of the co-op this morning. Feels like people are getting worse. 20 turns to get through the first set of adds because people keep trying to split damage.

Yes, it's gonna be a thing for every character event. It will get better but it's here to stay.

Eventually, once 35 CP weapons are common and lvl 60 cap is a thing, these will be significantly easier and you'll be able to farm 150k+ score a run and complete these in an hr+.

So how important is it to have a weapon from at least one banner char to not be a hinderance? I'm asking this having not tried the 70 co op for the current event yet.

I guess it depends on the character itself. Terra and Balthier can work without their weapons for example while Edge is not that great.
Eventually when we get 35 CP weapons it may become a bit harder because the gap will widen but with a few tickets you can probably pull at least 1 banner weapon and they're being quite generous with those.

Yeah... I'm honestly amazed by the ticket generosity coming from FFBE and FFRK... it's not even close.

I'm at 1m points on the Eiko event now, I don't have any banner weapons and usually score between 35-45k, depending on the party. My units of choice are

Cloud, with Organix, no lb
Eiko, Vanille's Staff, 2 lbs
Bartz, Terra's sword 1lb

Target priority and skill use are more important than gear this time around.

Paralyze proc's on the boss from Cloud just make this stupid easy.

Otherwise usually 3 summons back to back is enough to take out the boss before he respawns the adds, Assuming people arnt stupid.

Ugh tell me about it, i've had all kinds of stupid doing this fight, Clouds who DON'T use cross slash, Bartz who split BRV DMG between both adds and cause a wipe, people who SPAM stickers when they are bad advice or when you DARE to summon during the 3rd+ add phase.....
