Really loving this artifact farming, its SO much better then grinding co-op for it. Thinking next time I open up the highest tier, I'll pop a book of treasure.

Just be sure to have characters to level up to feed your Stamina. At 30 sp per run, you'll burn through it fast.

How do the artifacts work exactly? Would I be able to feed one I maxed out into another artifact and keep the old passive?

well I hit the invisible carrying capacity for artifacts fast.

You turn a maxed artifact into a passive trait for that character. I haven't maxed an artifact yet to tell you, but if it works the same as a MLB weapon then yes, once its finished you can use it as fodder for the next

Yes, you can hold up to 3 artifact passives at a time, so any new one you get after that, you can choose to replace any of the 3 passives or discard the new one.

You can and should infuse your previous maxed out artifact as a limit break for your new one, provides a crap ton of exp and you only need 2 extras instead of 3.

If the ability appears in orange, its the max you can get, CP cost ranges from 5 to 15. You can check what ability buffs do by examining the passive window.

Stat priority iirc is: ATK > Max BRV / Ability Passives > INT BRV > HP > DEF (Squall is the exception, you should prioritize INT BRV for him).

Priority heavily depends on the character. Many of the buffers/BRV batteries use different stats so those should be their priority overall.

You can carry 200 artifacts unless you expand your inventory with gems (which is really expensive, like 6k gems to fully max out, but might be worth it to some people).

It is nice that once you make the maxed out artifact, the passive is yours forever (if you want) and you can discard the husk of it lol.

I'm not drawing on the story banner this time, even though I like Vincent and Layle is interesting...the weapons aren't worth it. Still waiting for mah girl Prishe!

Its April Fools day on Sun..... So yeah will probably turn out to be Mog in a Kefka costume to troll us.

That said, the SE rep on Reddit DID mention Kefka would make for an interesting event for April Fools....

Bottom tier usually means: didn't get 60 cap yet. Tiers don't matter too much considering it fluctuates all the time. Remember how Shadow is ranked bottom tier? He is now top tier SS since he just got 60 cap and balance changes on JP.

Someone on reddit mentioned that this could be the WoI challenge actually, I guess Kefka was involved in that and they decided to drop it on April Fools. Either this or a special co-op stage but I don't see them dropping a co-op farm 2 days before the next character event.
