Most important thing for co-op regardless of what character you're using is to have Chocobo or Sylph summon at level 11. You will get most of the mats for that by clearing the chapters in normal and hard modes, but you can also farm the remaining mats in the (now permanent) World of Illusions: Ifrit dungeon. See if you can find a loot table online for which areas drop which mats. Other summons are really only good currently for solo content. You will want at least Ifrit at level 20 for solo content purposes.

You've missed Prishe (one of the best characters right now) but luckily Lightning will be coming with Chapter 8 very soon, and she is roughly equivalent. Papalymo is also on her banner and quite good as well. I would spend some gems on that banner for sure when it appears. "Best" story characters to level and try to gear up right now would be Yuna, Cloud, Vaan, and Terra with optional Cecil. Yuna is super useful for Esuna, Cloud and Terra are beasts even with their 15CP weapons, and Vaan is excellent and also coming up on a banner in a few weeks.

I wouldn't bother pulling on the upcoming Sunday co-op banner at all (Thancred/Yda/Y'shtola) because Thancred sucks horribly and Yda/Y'shtola are just okay, nothing special. The current Krile/Cecil/Yuffie banner might be worth spending some gems or tickets on if you like any of them. Yuffie is pretty bad, but Krile is decent and Cecil is fantastic for co-op as long as you understand launch break points. It's mathy. (supposedly Cloud's 35CP weapon completely outshines this pretty soon though so maybe abstain unless Cecil is a favorite)

The game pretty well rains gems, tickets and support items on you provided you log in every day and do your dailies & weekly co-ops. For now you might want to stockpile Cycle Quest keys for when 2x rewards comes back, but I don't know when that will be...hopefully within the next couple of months? Make sure you have 900 dissidia points a week to spend on a Power Stone (reset is either late sunday or early monday idk exactly). You can attain more gil by using Book of Fortune + Golden Cactuars cycle quest (about 100k gil per 30mins).

That's about all I can think of.

My recommendation is don't burn yourself out doing content too quickly. The game shits out cycle keys for dailies and dtamina is quickly recoverable. The problem with a lack of a stamina system is that there is nothing to prevent you from stopping play. Realize that things are around for a very long time and that you don't have to race to the finish so to speak. You fully recover stamina and rank up every 10 levels your characters gain cumulatively so that can be used to farm the esper areas. Also don't farm cryatals in the summon zones, farm armor and weapon upgrades as your first priority

For the crystal dungeons, I'm assuming the 20 difficulty is the best for the first tier since the 30 has the next tier drop? And that possibly repeats at 40 for that tier?

The level 50 is best for everything. Also, losses don't count as attempts so feel free to push it and fail.

If you wipe out on a fight you can just quit the game and restart, and it'll pick up on the last phase. Good trick if you're auto battling through the trash in a hard fight and forget to turn it off to manual the final phase XD

Ramza getting his Mercenary costume in JP as well as his EX, Seymour also joining the EX ranks. New awakenings include: Eiko, Vanille, Seymour, Galuf, Edge, King and Irvine (guess they're saving Sazh for last lol).
Also new artifact passives coming for all characters (and slots will be expanded as well) and Locke+Agrias as new characters. Maria and Palom coming back with their LCs (so awakenings, EX weapons, etc.).

If you have SP, Ifrit WOI Orb 3 is my go to. Co-op events can also drop orbs along with the artifacts, less reliable but they're the highest tier.

These introduced awakenings in JP BUT according to the dataminers they won't in GL so it's unsure what their purpose is exactly. They are time limited, solo content that's supposedly harder than the LCs :/ There's one for magic and one for physical.

Its only speculation ATM if its Heretics. Data miners only confirmed we're getting a global exclusive event and the SE reddit rep mentioned "Spanish Inquisition" in relation to this event, which is why people think its Heretics.

Yeah it's gonna be insane... I only have mages with 15 CP I hope it's nerfed a bit or we're gonna have a really hard time. Papalymo can save me I guess lol.
Also worth noting that certain characters will have banners with their relics: Vincent/Vanille/Hope on one and Cloud/Terra/Laguna on the other. It's possible these have new 35 CPs too!

Did ~25 tickets, and 4 10+1 pulls.

Tickets gave me Lightning 35CP. Wanted to try and get her 15CP so did gem pulls:
1/11 on all 4. Papalymo 15CP x2, Sazh 15CP and Lightning 35CP.

Going to stop there. Want to save for Vaan, though it feels bad to let her 15CP go.
