Not at all. There is strategy involved though. You can strategize it to a pretty ridiculous degree if you want to. I.e. planning turn order & number of turns, manipulating the battle with summon passives, utilizing buffs and debuffs, centering your team around a certain strat such as launch mechanics, taking into account boss weaknesses, lots of stuff. If you say which HM battles you're having issues with and what you have to work with maybe we can help.

I'm taking a temporary break, recently reinstalled FFBE and it took so much space I had to sacrifice this.

Not pulling for Lion here. Saving for Serah and Garnet.
Also I don't like how Lion plays, pretty much needing a tank or prepare to sacrifice 1/3rd of her dmg or whatever. I don't have any tanks geared so Lion is a no tanks. :D

I got Yshtola 35 from a ticket so I'm content on pulling. Now I must prepare for some gut wrenching feels from the battle music.

Yup, same here. Got Galuf's 15 and Y'shtola's 35 from some leftover tickets and I'm happy with that.

I'm loving this coop fight. Difficult but not impossible. The AI doesn't seem to hp attack often which is nice. I'm averaging a 50k score.

My luck went down the toilet. Took nearly 60~70ish tickets to get a 5* relic and I still have yet to do my 11 pull.

Came back, caught up with everything. Got Lion 15 with tickets. Did 3 5k gem pulls for Sir Aurin and got 2x Auron 35! As well as a dupe Cyan 15. Hopefully tickets get me Auron's 15.

Is Auron any good? I'm thinking of skipping him to focus on what I already have and I already used some tokens on Vincent 35.

He's bad right now, you can safely skip. Among the upcoming Chapter 9 characters only Serah is worth pulling for but her weapons come back very soon on the Quistis banner (alongside Vivi). So it's either Edgar, Irvine and Serah or Quistis, Vivi and Serah (the latter has 35 CP weapons for all three).

Auron is really bad. Im shocked they didn't buff him for global. Even with his weapons his good debuff is only like a 60% chance to land. And it lasts 2 turns. Good luck timing that before a summon so you have a chance to take advantage.

I thought Edgar was quite good as well? Is he not a good consolation prize?
