Used one ticket on Cid's banner> gold> Rem 35. Literally the only thing I wanted from it lol, I'm out!
Haven't tried the EX yet but it doesn't seem good even if I bring Balthier with me. Maybe I'll try Lenna, Balthier, King with a strong DPS as friend and go all out on summon phase.

If you can use Balthier to steal the dmg down buff, they can't kill him even if they target him with 9k+ brv. It's pretty nice. Also note that you can keep resetting on the last wave to get a turn order that heavily favors you. I was doing that to get Balthier into a position to steal the buffs immediately. Plus points if rng chooses Balthier to tank most of their hits - you can skip a lot of shaving rounds that way. Should be entirely possible to get a great score with that comp.

There any guides for this batch of LC to look at? I'm having a wee bit of trouble with the final 2 fights of each LC for tokens (trying to save them for awakenings and chapter 11 characters) and need to figure out if they're viable with the characters I can use. (mostly skipped Sephi and Lenna,King refused to give up his 35,Cid isn't getting MLB 15 passive until monday after the missions end so I'm a little short on trying to outright powercreep them).
I may have my doubts about being able to beat the final fights but I feel I can at least get another 6 tokens before it's too late.

I'm in the same boat as you are. I'm having immense trouble clearing the LCs, and I mostly have the same issues with character restrictions too. The only "current meta" character I have at all is Lenna (and Ramza I guess, but I don't have his 15 or armor MLB and don't feel like spending because I don't have a good dps for him to buff anyway).

Unfortunately, I haven't seen any guides that actually walk through and say what to use when. Though I tend to ignore Sazh guides because I don't have him, and almost every specific guide is a Sazh guide. Mostly there are general guides saying what characters are good for which LCs. So it's up to us to come up with a good strategy. If you post your roster, we can probably come up with something manageable. One thing to keep in mind is that Synergy characters are very strong in their stages even if they're not geared that well.

Finally went to try Lenna's EX and it was actually pretty easy (with all three event characters and two of them being MLB though... not exactly fair I'd say). Cid's EX with Balthier doesn't seem possible, damage is too low and he can't keep up with debuffs at all. I'll try again with another DPS in his place and Cid friend I guess, maybe Sephiroth will be enough.

Stream was... disappointing I guess? November is gonna be sloooooooow if all we're getting are two character events, 1 LC and a bunch of Heretics :/ Guess we're not catching up to JP anymore lol.

I get the feeling they left some stuff as a surprise. But maybe they need the time to really consider how to present the content in GL, considering the massive amount of whining the current meta / Lenna's EX incited. I'd rather have less content for a month so they can take their time balancing fights and gauging player reaction than forging full steam ahead with no consideration for the play environment.

Me too but I don't think getting less than what JP gets monthly is a good option for GL either. I hope there's more in the datamine, at least some more LCs would be fine. Unless they're slowing down events to catch up with Awakenings.

Wow, Rem is so much fun with her 35 CP. Best part is you don't even need to max her 15, she can work perfectly without it! Can't wait for her EX banner, I feel like she's gonna get plenty of uses from me.

Rem is awesome, I remember having fun with her as my first MLB character back in the first month or two of GL. I'm waiting for her EX to get her 35 but a bit envious of people who got her now :D Everyone who has her EX say they don't regret chasing it so I'm thinking it's a good one.

Even though I know Rydia sucks, dropped 60+ tickets and a 5k (cause best summoner), and only got 1x Rydia 15...... Guess the game punished me for not skipping...

Also managed to beat Rydia EX with 2 LB 35 Lenna, MLB 2x OWA artifact Sephiroth, and MLB Sazh, friend Vaan (thanks Silenka! Your Vaan fucked up the bomb hard near end) and Ifrit smn. Got 31k score.

So I decided to install JP DFFOO to try it for fun and threw 4 pulls (including free one) and 20 tickets at Squall/Layle EX banner (No intention of rerolling btw).

Tickets: Layle 15 and Seymour 35
1st: Seymour 15
2nd: Seymour 15
3rd: Seymour 15 + 35
4th: Seymour 15 + 35

Had to check rates thinking something screwy, game just wanted me to have MLB Seymour. Was alright with it until......

Seymour requires Ch. 10 completion to unlock......... WHAT..... THE....... FUCK!?!? GDI SE, give JP GL's no Ch. Requirements for LC......

Other then that, got 100 of each T4 crystal and tons of weapon/armor tokens from cumulative Halloween co-op goals, so bitching.

You just had really unlucky draws, tbh I would reroll that 35s are not nearly as useful as Layle or Squall with EX.
When I started JP, summer banner was up with 2 free pulls. I had to reroll several times but ended up nabbing Firion, Cloud and Vaan EX from those (Vaan worthless though). Squall and Layle are both meta gods in JP right now, as are Ashe, Fran and Balth. Both banners are actually really good.

I threw another pull instead on Fran and got 2x Balthier 35 and 15.

Thinking about rerolling, but it is such a bitch to uninstall/reinstall..... If I end up not getting an EX on next 2 pulls, I'll reroll.

If you use Nox you can keep the game files downloaded and never have to re-download when rerolling, just delete the user data file anytime you want to reroll. (I did this in bluestacks which might be easier / work differently, never used Nox, but JP doesn't currently work in bluestacks).
Only thing is you gotta sit through the opening movie but it's a lot better than having to wait for the files to download. If you're serious about rerolling that is what I would do.
