If you use Nox you can keep the game files downloaded and never have to re-download when rerolling, just delete the user data file anytime you want to reroll. (I did this in bluestacks which might be easier / work differently, never used Nox, but JP doesn't currently work in bluestacks).
Only thing is you gotta sit through the opening movie but it's a lot better than having to wait for the files to download. If you're serious about rerolling that is what I would do.

Only play on my phone, so I bit the bullet and deleted/reinstalled (next 2 pulls were 2x Squall 35 and 2x Seymour 35 power stones....).

Will probably reroll once more if I fail to get an EX this time. Don't want to miss on Halloween co-op rewards.

on the plus side, as long as you get some good weapons for meta characters I wouldn't be super worried about getting an EX or not. Coops will carry you (I've carried people who were like 30/30 with a 15 before lol) and you have probably 50 pulls worth of gems you can farm up just doing story content and LCs. I would chase Ashe EX instead of Squall but that's me (I did in fact do just that), Squall doesn't need his EX for anything but longevity, but Ashe is EX-reliant.

I'm so glad I rerolled, ended up getting Layle's EX on the free pull! Also thanks for the advice, game's meta definitely feels different from GL (which is not surprising considering they are several months ahead). Also some of these EXs are cool as fuck, favorite so far is Sephiroth using Black Materia and Vayne's EX.

Nice! Layle's EX animation looks sick. Yes, the game's meta is very different. Co-op is a breeze - you can bring anything with any summon at any level and no one will care, and the hardest (COSMO) difficulty only gives you the regular gems for completing and 6 draw tickets, so you don't have to hit a target score or miss out on 500 gems or anything. Porom and Cinque are JP Nov chars, Alisaie and Noctis LC and 70 cap this Nov, S2, Ch. 4 character is Paine as well as new abilities coming out (finally) for all chars.

So pretty exciting month for JP DFFOO.

Are you using Rydia as a friend unit? I cleared it with MLB Seph, King and 0LB 35 CP Lenna /w Rydia friend and Ifrit.

Yeah I am. Ifrit summon and Rydia friend. Her enwater overrides Ifrit fire element. I'm 99% sure I just need to git gud.

Awakenings are here and terra buffs are rad. I'm so glad that I saved up 20 armour tokens for this and can get a bunch more id i try this round.

No Terra 35 got Shantotto instead. Last stage seems pretty tough, lvl 70 my ass.

Not tried those yet. I'm farming crystals,doing trick or treat since the shop has awakening crystals and failing to farm yang artifacts by the truckload.

Magic wasn't too bad actually, power has some BS with those two armors but it's probably due to me not having any of the 35s for these characters. I'll try with my new 56/60 Y'shtola and see if she can help with Medica II spam.

I tried power with Sazh, WoL and Cloud. Ran out of steam against the giants.

I went back with Terra and full cleared Cid's ex. She's a beast now. I don't even have her at CL55 yet and she's still a freak of nature. I can't believe she's a weak char in the grand scheme of awakenings.

Been getting fucked with constant 1/11 15s while chasing and failing to get Squall 70 / Layle 35.

Then do my first pull on Laguna EX: 2/11: Cater 15, Laguna EX! Makes up for it. Gonna keep pulling for Sazh 35 (need a buffer and I know he ain't Cait Sith or Selphie) and Laguna 15/35.

Edit: JP DFFOO btw. Also 2x bonus exp + new 70 crystal stage + Flower Cactuar got Squall/Layle from 50 to 57 in one round, holy fuck!.

Also we finally got a raid fight! Atlas!

Yeah the new crystal stage doesn't fuck around, wish we had it in GL because it's painful grinding all these newly awakened charas to 60. It's so much easier to do literally everything in JP (and my luck is so much better) that it makes GL feel so tedious to me

Meanwhile I'm still trying to get the score in Power without Cloud's 35 XD I'll give Zidane a try but I'm not too sure.

Try using a friend Cloud and Brothers summon. The asshole giants on wave 2 are weak to earth. Once you summon, spam finishing touch with both clouds and dump your brave
