All of my cid friends changed their characters on me so I failed Cid EX. I guess I should have pulled more on that banner for Rem or Zell.

Speaking of changing characters, I know you guys use my Vaan a lot so I'll ask here, would you rather I switch my support chara to 60/56 full MLB Terra w/2 Trance and 1 ATK artifact or leave Vaan up? I can also switch to MLB Quistis too. I'm just worried Vaan might be a tad outclassed now with Awakenings charas rampaging everywhere.

Man, my GL luck though. Had around 70 tix and really want Rydia even though she's going to be outdated soon. Feeling lucky, I threw nearly all my tickets at her banner. Netted me... Seifer 15 (wat), Yang 35, Shadow 35, Rydia 15. I also wanted Hope 35/WoI so I threw 3 tix at that banner, and on the third ticket got Zidane 35.

I'd say switch it to Terra now and Vaan whenever we get wave 2. If you're nost using Red shards on Firion you can probably get Vaan to 60/60 whenever we get the next set. Terra is a better support for the Alisaie event though because she's sinergy.

Man, JP version is SOOOO much more fun then GL ATM, Co-ops are such a breeze (no wonder since everyone has chars that dish out 30-60k a turn). Also now that Laguna/Layle/Squall are 60/60 with Layle/Laguna EX, everything is getting massively wrecked. At ch. 8 ATM and working on getting Ifrit to 20.

Also 5k pull netted me Laguna 15/35 to go with his EX, so fuck yeah! Gonna do another pull when I can to try and snag Sazh 35 (his 60 awakening buffs attack boost to AOE and increases his buffs potency).

I wouldn't chase Sazh, he's underwhelming in JP even with 70 cap. He had his time in the spotlight in GL but in JP he's still considered bad. Save for the upcoming reworks instead, I think Yuna is among them and she gets an EX most likely.

Thanks for the advice, I looked up Altema and they list chars like Lenna/Freya/Serah/Rosa as best buffers because: tons of party wide invisible buffs and healing. So yeah, can easily now see why Sazh is bad now. I'll just hoard gems then like you said.

Yeah, it's unfortunate but until he gets a total rework he's not worth the time. Also Porom is coming soon and she's another support so... potentially OP with her 70 cap at release. Ramza is getting buffed as well so there's another potential buffer much better than Sazh to chase this month. I'm not sure if Porom is getting an EX weapon, it's usually hit or miss with event characters and she's not exactly one of the most popular... but her brother has one so it's entirely possible.

The JP raid is honestly really good content. Comes with all flavors of difficulty level, multiple co-ops and both personal and community rewards while also giving old charas a chance to shine in their new 70 forms...it's good stuff.

Are ya'll leveling everyone to 51/60? I want to, especially with 2x cycle quests, but I don't want to screw myself on shards later. I may do everyone except Firion for now, since I want my reds for Vaan.

They're already giving us more high shards than JP got in the first awakening cycle, so I just went ahead and awakened all to at least 51. If you don't clear the power heretic with Firion you will miss out on 15 red high shards, whereas you only have to spend 5 to get him to 60. If you can clear it with him without awakening him at all, props to you. But if you can't, it's an objectively better deal to pop 51, get him to 60 and clear for those 15 shards.

I already 51 everyone, we will get WAY more high shards as we go along (think MCs for those that play FFRK). I just started in JP, already have enough high shards to 60/60 2 of every color crystal character.

Yeah just pop those 5 shards and level them. Free gems, extra stats to help you clear the Heretic stage with them and we're bound to get more. Whenever Vaan is released he'll come with another set of Heretics and more shards to farm.

After seeing how good Shanty/WoL are on JP, decided to throw a pull for something for WoL to use. 1/11 off banner Maria 15.......

Was pissed and decided to do another pull: 4/11! Shantotto EX and 35, WoL 15 and 35! Hoarding 100% for Porom/Alisaie now.

I also want to do a pull for WoL / Shantotto but with Alisaie, Noct, and all the new charas coming out, I'm much better off waiting. It's rough to not have a 70 chara with the raid out, though.

I got WoL's 35 in GL from my multi today lol. Still no 70k score though, I got 49k thanks to him. I can probably go a bit higher but 70k is probably not happening without Cloud/Firion I'm afraid. Hopefully the ticket pulls deliver.

This co-op is a gift. Easy and fun with solid rewards. I did the new half off pull and got the last Serah 35cp to MLB her so she's ready for awakenings now which is great seeing as how she's the better sister.
