I remember getting some 15 items for some characters, do characters get multiple 15 and 35?

Each character has/will have 3 tiers of weapons, 15, 35 and EX. It takes a total of 4 copies to max limit break a weapon. Max limit break(mlb) allows the passive trait of the weapon to permanently unlock as a option on their passive list.

Any weapons you no longer need can be sold back for a power stone. 4 Power stones can be used in exchange as 1 of the required copies toward MLB a weapon.

Some characters do have multiple 15 CP weapons but the second ones are time limited. Cloud also has a second limited 35 CP but we don't know when they'll actually make it available again.

Depends. Clouds adds a dispel effect on abilities that crit, squalls increases mbrv and ibrv conditionally, and Vaan's(coming next week with Bahamut) will increase atk and mbrv when inflicting a break.

Decided to have some fun and go ham since that’s my first 70 weapon and buy an MLB body for Shanttoto. Now to grind her to 60. *shiudder*

This is actually just due to unfortunately planned timing, because SE messed with the release order we're getting Rem both during the Noctis event and with Awakening Batch 2 (it was supposed to have been Ace on the Awakening banner, not Rem). Banner-wise, it might not have been the best idea, but personally I'm glad they chose to awaken Rem early. She is amazingly good and she's making everything even more of a joke than Terra did. I can't wait until I have enough green high shards to get her fully awakened.

They had to awaken her specifically because she was awakened during the noctis event. It's easier to bring her up to speed than to have to deal with the fact that not awakening her would break the entire event.

Rem is amazing. Attack buff for the whole party, Swap Turns is a gamechanger with awakening passive+ 35 CP especially the HP attack+ unlocked afterwards.

I haven't gotten to use her cl60 yet myself, I'm stuck at 58, but I partied with a Rem who had it and holy shit it's so damn good. 50 percent hp damage converts to brv battery.

It allows you to recharge your EX bar faster so this is a must pull for certain characters that heavily rely on it (Rinoa, Golbez, etc.).

I’ve pulled so very much in the Shantotto EX banner and it’s almost always been 1/11 :/, think I’ll just dismiss the idea I’ll get her EX weapon... like I know I’ve only done 5 11 pulls and maybe 40 tickets which isn’t technically close to “against the odds” but damn. It’s not even like I can get a consolation Shantotto prize... just Rem Yuna or Vaan...

I don’t even remember how I got her 35 (Claustrum) but at least I have that...

They'll all come back. Especially NT-featured chapter characters like Shantotto and Cloud get reruns of their EX pretty frequently. I'm honestly not even worried that I didn't manage to pull Cloud's EX this time because he's probably going to feature on at least 3 more banners before he gets his superpowered rework. I'm sure Shantotto will be back soon enough too.

You don't NEED EX weapons for content anyway. They're just a very good bonus while the content is (supposedly) still tuned towards the assumption that you don't have the EX.

Its more that I like Shantotto cause XI rather than need :\. but its cool if its coming back eventually.

Fair enough. I already burned my gems on Lilisette and the fact that I even used tickets on the banner with totto on it was a dumb move. Totto always having a short window of being top tier whenever she's up there seems like a good reason to try and play with her now rather than later too. I'm sure my attitude will change once I have to deal with Rem, Ysh, Prishe,Lion and all of the other EX weapons I actually want popping up and not dropping for me.
