It was Firion and Penelo on JP, but good chance they'll change it due to Snow banner. I'm going for Vaan's WoI, kinda sucks though this will almost be back to back with his EX banner.

All summon banners have changed so far and we usually get two different sets (week 1 and week 2). I might wait for the half off return, maybe toss some tickets now if the other two characters are ok.

5k gems and got 2 copies of Vaan’s new 15 and 2 copies of Vanille’s 35. Used some orbs and MLB’d the 15.

We do actually, it's Fang's event bosses (how appropriate lol). However Vanille won't be viable for the EX because she won't have her awakening yet (unless they pull something funny on GL) and she's not sinergy. Looking at the videos though a dispeller isn't a must have.

As long as it's not a must have, I'm fine with it. Cid's EX was all levels of stupid without being able to dispel.

Also, I'm an idiot, I forgot I got Balthier's 35 from winter fest half draw, so I do have a dispeller if it's required.

Balthier will be in the same boat as Vanille so I wouldn't worry too much. Our main dispellers won't be viable until awakenings for the new EX fights so I don't think there's any that will force you to use them.

Went 2/11 and got Irvine's 35 gun from the Noctis Banner after scrounging up another pull! Still not a single Noctis Weapon though lol, either his 15, 35 or Ex.

Stopped playing the game for a bit, but after these last couple of random login pulls, kinda giddy to get back into it. First I got Shanttoto's EX weapon, and now I have a 15, 15, 35 Vaan, I think I will start saving gems for Vaan's EX Weapon if it's not too far off, I just need a good 3rd to round them out. They are both kicking ass already and still at 50. Working on getting their crystal strength up to 60 now.

Any recommendations for a good 3rd to shoot for? I'm using 35 Sazh for now.

Can't go wrong with a good Rem if you can get her "Swap Turn" relic (even without it shes pretty great support wise), or anyone who can buff like Sazh you're using now. Yuna's a decent support I think with the right Relics. The DNC/BRD people too.

You're gonna be hosed for certain quests if you don't get some kind of type diversity going. One cannot get by on 3 characters alone, even if they are strong. Next thing that comes along that's resistant to magic, your goose is cooked. Best to build a good well-rounded roster of some physical, some magical, some ranged, a healer and a couple gimmick users (dispel, brv freeze, turn delay or whatever). The best characters available right now are Rem (healer, needs her 35 but not 15) and Noctis (ranged, needs all 3 weapons though so tough to pull for). Unfortunately not many banners are up at the moment for awakened characters so it's kind of a resource-saving time for most people.

Next character event is Alisaie who is going to just bring all magic characters with her: Alisaie, Papalymo, Terra EX. Afterward is Krile LC with D.Cecil and Yuffie. Yuffie is reportedly going to be a fine addition to any roster with her Awakening and 35, while Krile and D.ecil leave something to be desired long-term.

As someone who recently got carried in the Wraith Mail 70 CO-OP fight because I went as Shantotto and that MF is resistance to every form of magic, can attest..

I have other characters too. Just I think these are the luckiest pulls I have gotten so far. I have an MLB Celes 35, 35 Balthier, Galuf, Cloud, Vanille, Yuna, and a lot of random 15’s my favorite of which had been Papalymo, he’s a power house with just a 15.
