Time for me to start getting those completion missions full steam ahead. I will continue to have my Ysh be an absolute monster if I can get away with it and way too many of the upcoming Co-ops/LC "require" at least one obligatory pull.
I think Prishe EX came at the same time as Ysh EX in the JP version so I'm gonna need some serious juju to pull off two EX draws at the same time that I'm pulling on everything that moves.

Some advice I saw on reddit is that Relm (The next event banner) features Edgar and Vivi. If you're grabbing Relm you might be able to skip one of the awakening banners or vice versa depending upon how your gacha luck goes.

Y'shtola gets her EX tomorrow in GL, she was datamined to be in the Artifact WoI alongside Zidane (the other EX) and the other awakened characters. Prishe could be coming with the next batch if they don't shift things around again.

I was sad to find out no Black Crystals with this event... Squall will have to wait a little longer I suppose , I'll pick up whats there though I guess...

Bad long term investment. Selphie does everything better, But she's currently B tier which is much greater than some other characters I have done some fights with.

Y'shtola's main benefit is in her EX - namely, it gives a full-party raise & full heal. It makes her a great friend support, and she can carry you through certain battles if you have trouble.
Buuuuut...Aerith can already raise too, and arguably fills a party slot better than Y'shtola because she can heal all the time instead of just with her EX.
Plus, Rosa is coming up, and she gets 3 charges of a 3 turn party reraise buff, which allows you to basically zombie your way through difficult content.

Rosa cannot heal though (I know, weird huh?) but healing is not gonna be an issue when most characters in the future get some form of AoE heal.
Y'shtola's EX is loaded but is also very slow (restore HP, BRV, raises, MBRV buff for 8 turns to the party, 8 turns of BRV Regen to herself, restores one ability use for each of her abilities after use and unlocks HP Attack+) and she's still gonna slowly fade until her rework in a few months.
Still worth pulling for imo, that's a lot of utility on one skill.

It was recently added so it's no surprise you missed it Last maintenance I believe.
Also no info from dataminers yet, I hope Cait drops as a surprise tonight but with no announcement I'm not expecting much.

Spammed Selphie artifacts in a mad dash to get my last two Life of Trabia 2* passives before her event ends and got them both midway with the final one being the closest I've come to a perfect artifact passive: Max BRV 330 + Life of Trabia 2* 10 CP.

Also got ridiculously lucky and got back to back Way of the Hero 2* for Greg. Been a good day!

nice nice! I settled for absolutely rock bottom Selphie artifacts because I find co-op a drag. I'll get them when we get eidojas.

But I got UNBELIEVABLY lucky on these new banners! I planned on throwing about 30 tickets at Y'shtola's EX banner just to see if I could get it. I did spend about 30 tickets and got 3 golds in a row: Chocoblade (lmao), Ramza 15, and Ysh EX! Plus two Laguna 15s, which I surprisingly still needed.
I'm so grateful they put her 35 on the half-off, because the only thing I had for Ysh previously was a MLB 15. On just the half-off pull I ended up with one copy of the 35, an extra Thyrus, and both of Yuri's weapons (which MLB'd his 15).

Feels so good to be lucky on an EX for once and not wasting my whole stash on it. And I got so much with so few resources!

So I'm fully awakening Prishe, Serah and Y'shtola this patch. Hooray! (But I need to grind crystals for all of them...not hooray...)

Decided to throw 5k at each of the 2 new banners since they are all characters I have nothing for. Walked away with Serah 35 and Prishe 15 from Zidane’s banner and Yshtola 79 and Laguna 15 from the other.

Aphmau/Nasheira announced for JP. Artwork shows H2H user and no puppets in sight. Dunno what she'll be (DPS, etc) but if they go off XI probably a Hybrid DPS/WHM.

Took me 70 tickets to even get a gold. 150+ tickets down so far and no sign of Ysh. I do have about 40 powerstones by now so that's something i guess?

Heretic was tge easiest to date imo. Ran all the trash stages with mlb Prishe, Serah 35cp, and Zidane 15mlb 35 0lb. Switched to Squall, Prishe, Selfie for the boss runs

If they are her EX, it'll be 8 months out, Lion is getting her EX instead Seems like they got lazy and just didn't want to animate her puppets.

Did a few pulls on the Exploda banner hoping to fill in some Prishe weapons, ended up with 3 StarSeekers. Pretty much done with that banner cause it'll just be Rem all over again.
