First anniversary banner will have Cloud, Vaan and Hope with their 35 and 15s. No info on the EX banners yet.
Beatrix uses red shards so hoard those and Save the Queen has been datamined to be her EX weapon so she's coming fully loaded next week! Interlude, Beatrix and Garnet banners will overlap so you can redirect to either of these depending on your luck.

Edit: Warning!! Potential early Lightning EX drop, info has been datamined regarding her EX unique buff so... she could be here in the anniversary banners.

Her EX is indeed a gamechanger for her, it's really good. It's not confirmed yet btw, this could just be data dump with no real meaning (apparently Leon's EX is added as well and his just came out in JP lol) but it's worth noting anyway because it could happen.

I tried the advent one, just a gauntlet of those early chapter bosses. Random setup I got 146k, later on will optimize my party to try to hit that 200k achievement

Literally used one more ticket and Cait's 35 showed up, yay!
I tried the EX stage in the co-op event and it wasn't that hard, need to go again for the score but I cleared easily. Turtles suck ass so bring batteries.

Did Co-Op EX, was 2 turns shy of 165k for gems. Setup: Tidus EX, Selphie (6* Life of Trabia), and Squall (WoI and EX) with friend Squall and Bahamut Summon.

I'll join the "got WoL EX on the free pull" train. Also a Cait 15 and a Firion 15 on that pull (have literally never pulled a Firion 15 before in either version so I was like "wtf is this" at first XD)
Did one more gem draw and about 30 tickets and got Cait 35 and a couple other random things but unfortunately no more dupes that I needed except Cait 15 MLB, and no Penelo 35 either. Not that I really need it, lol. Happy with my pulls overall, no complaints. Just waiting for the other anni banners and Beatrix now.

I struggled with both of the new EX fights without Cait. Ended up hitting all the score requirements for both with

Reminiscence: 240k score. Vaan (Full mlb), Cait (15mlb, 30 0lb), Selphie (Full mlb), Squall friend, Ifrit summon

Rancor: 197k score. Squall (Full mlb w/ex), Cait, Selphie, Squall friend, Ifrit summon.

Cait's absurd. 12k/member brave battery is just stupid.

Free pull felt the power of a Penelo 35 that would have been an Ace 35 if SE didn't switch the banner up.
Did a regular pull since I hadn't been banking on getting a free pull and got Cait 15.
Ticketed a Cait 35.
Now I gotta level Cait in order to do the coop without feeling like a leech since I really don't wanna waste t4 crystals on Penelo

Penelo is actually pretty good with her early awakening. Not as good as Cait but she works fine.

Edit: JP is entering a new era with 2+ EX weapons per banner. They seem to be planning to release a new EX+ an old one getting buffed with each new banner.
Atm Cloud got his new EX buffs and Vincent got his new EX with the upgrades right away (don't ask me why). The overall system seems pretty convoluted requiring to craft certain items using others while also requiring other special items to LB the new weapon and having to level it up all over again (basically you upgrade the EX weapon keeping all the passives but resetting levels and LBs to gain new ones and more stats, CPs also increase). Same process for the 90 CP armor. And there's sphere slots for additional passives to equip.
WoL gets his buffs during Garland's event, I'm assuming Squall will be buffed alongside Ultimecia's release. I'm expecting a lot of villains to show up now for whatever reason.

They also mentioned you get more Materia slots by fully leveling and LBing to 7* using this new system DUPE EX weapons. I.e. if you want 2 Materia slots on Cloud, you need to 7* 2 copies of Cloud EX.

Cleared Interlude last night, unlocked Hard Mode and saw that the 10-wave fights are Lvl. 100, I don’t think I’m ready for that yet, lol.
