The short short version, In stormblood it's revealed the real Yda been dead for long time and her sister Lyse been pretending to be her to honor Yda name. She takes mask off, reveals the truth, puts on a sexy dress and joins the resistance against the empire.

wouldnt call it major spoilers as it happened early on in story and really had no impact to the plot. her being Lyse was just really bad soap opera writing. "Guys the truth is I'm really my twin who you have never heard of or I have never mentioned to this point" *gasp*. All it was missing was a case of amnesia.

At least Lyse should more focused around mnks lvl 70 kit so that should be interesting.

There won't be any interactions between the two. Just like with Cecil, Lyse will replace Yda in the story as a character but you can still use them as separate entities (although not together).

True, but the title of the story arc is "The Second Partner", so that title implies they are just gonna make Yda be the unseen original instead of Decil/Pecil interaction. I like how FFXIV players on Reddit are up in arms over this idea that DFFOO might do it when XIV hasn't shown OG Yda, but I doubt that fact is gonna stay their hand if they decide to go this route.

The title could mean anything. Lyse's reveal would obviously bring with it the revelation that Yda was her long dead sister meaning that she's Papalymo's second partner. And that's assuming the title even refers to that and they're not talking about a Dissidia thing that happens in the story chapter. Also Yda is not surprised to see the twins all grown up, the real Yda met them when they were like 5.

Anyway apparently I missed that Kuja and Lilisette are also getting their reworks and EX+ this coming month! Funny how Kuja is getting reworked before we even see his awakening over here XD

GL Twitch updates:

-New login bonuses starting after maintenance: 100 Gem reward turns into 400, 300 gems turns into 1x ticket, 1x ticket turns into 3x Power Stones;
-Kaktuars will be added as a permanent thing for cycle quests;
-More Kupo mini cards;
-Vaan costume (meaning we get his EX in the next awakening batch in a couple days!), Ace later this month (costume+ EX in Deuce's event);
-Awakenings: Setzer, Wakka, Yda, Papalymo, Layle, Yuri! (Vaan EX confirmed) Also heretics+ co-op later;
-Celes LC March 4th, Pandemona permanent March 11th, Kain LC March 18th;
-March 14th: Act 2 Chapter 1 introducing Seven and Rem's EX!
-G tokens coming to GL! (only available in banners with EX weapons, exclusive to each banner, same as JP's pity system basically)

There's also an OK costume apparently datamined and no info regarding changes to Fang's banner so that's likely going to be a repeat of Tidus.

With the pity system in place, start saving up 75k gems per EX you BADLY want, that's how much to 100% get it. Personally saving here on out for Quistis, Rinoa, Ultimecia, and Lilisette (sorry Alisaie).

Edit: Highest I could get on EX was 183k with Beatrix (EX), Cait Sith, and Vaan with friend Vaan EX with bahamut summon. Not going to bang my head against this Wall of a fight for 3 tickets and 100 gems.

250 tickets on Vaan's ex banner and walked away with almost mlb everyone but no ex in sight. In frustration I did a 5k pull on Prishe because she's waifu and got her ex in 1 pull. Then went back to Vaan, and got his ex in 3 multi pulls.

Total cost for 2 ex weapons, 250 tickets and 20k gems
