That's awesome, Aikar. I second your option of fuck this stage. I'm still stuck under 170k score and have all but given up. Gonna try again with Lillisette later this week and see how that goes.

Lilisette is gonna be great but you need two strong shavers with her and some healing. Her SPD down debuff is gonna help a lot.

Beatrix, Vaan, Ramza. Agrias friend, Bahamut summon. 200k+ score. First try.

This one was easy even if it took a few resets from the skull dragon's ibrv being high enough to one shot Ramza.

The carry is giving me grief but I may just gem revive it for the rewards.

I wish I had Beatrix EX for carry. Still not sure who can carry my Palom - I suppose I'll get him to 51/60 first then see, because my first attempt with Palom/Eiko/Layle didn't work at all, not enough shave on the mid bosses.

I had to awaken Palom for the carry because I only had a 4* weapon for him. Did it with Vanille and Beatrix.
I have no short term plans for black high shards anyway so it's fine.

Oh sweet, Sazh is getting awakened. I haven’t used him since I got his 35 back in 50 cap. Does his awakening make him good again?

Not really. He's better but nothing special compared to most supports.

Against my better judgement, I threw 2 5k pulls of my Rinoa/Quistis stash on Clairfu EX banner.

1st: 1/11 Raijin 15
2nd: 2/11 Yang 15 and Lightning EX!!!!!!

Waifu is back on the main team!

Tossed 5k and a few tickets at Lightning EX, I got Raijin 35, Yang, 35, Lightning 35, MLB Lilisette 15, and 2x Lilisette 35. Lilisette seems really fun to use. I might try to use her as the support in the melee party I'm trying to make. She should pair well with Thancred. Now to find a decent 3rd member to pair with those two.

I haven't pulled an EX since Ramza (or Y'shtola, can't remember who came first). I've been throwing every ticket I get at EX banners, and spent at least 20k gems on Thancred (but I'm saving 75k for Quistis atm).

My lack of Beatrix/Rem/Thancred or any other current EX is really killing my ability to get score in these battles. It's so frustrating. Reminds me of the Sazh/Lenna EX era back when I was missing any sort of meta DPS and couldn't clear anything properly.

Quistis can't come fast enough.

I went in hard for Bartz ex and I'm glad I did
150 tickets and worth every one. I had Bartz accidentally mlb from previous banners.

Score on Agrias ex jumped from 160k ish and 70 turns to 210k and 57 turns.

Lillisette mlb w/6* Butterfly, Agrias no ex, Bartz mlb. Bahamut friend Agrias.

Swapped Agrias out for Beatrix and steamrolled the new 100 and ex stages with the new event.

Yeah Bartz is no joke. His rework came early for us too just like Thancred's EX. He's an absolute monster right now and trivializes any battle where bosses gain a large amount of BRV.

You don't even need his EX, I'd argue that it's a waste of a turn unless longevity is an issue (no overflow, damage is bad, battery is also meh). Probably just for the stats but that's about it.

JP is getting Ignis, Gau and Eight this month. Also new confirmed EX+ are Terra, King, Eiko, Sephiroth, Vanille, Serah, Setzer as well as the new LCs with Rinoa, Golbez, Irvine and Seven. Forgot about Zack EX+ in the story banner with Ignis.

Some long asked for QoL changes in GL, including replacing the white loading screen and giving us an accept-all button. Character events are as expected, thankfully, but seeing that Quistis is coming out around the chapter and late in the month makes me regret not spending more gems on Thancred's EX.

Can't wait to try a heretic that has no boosted characters!
