There's a second mistery character coming next month to JP but they haven't dropped any hints other than layle getting reworked for that event. They usually show silhouettes for both so this mistery is surely intriguing...

I'm excited for Ifrit tonight/tomorrow but it sounds like the grind is going to be very real. At least for Ifrit I have a maxed out Celes to carry me.

On reddit, it was stated If you bring a super synergy character (gives summon exp to whole party) and use a 3x exp book, it would take 3 runs of Ifrit to get all treasure chests in those characters summon board.

Also, be aware, super synergy DOES NOT stack with double exp, so don't pair exp x2 characters with super synergy characters.

So far so good. For my setup I've settled on Celes + weak useless char for treasures + someone who's board I want to max.

Swap out the useless char for a friend Quistis and profit.

Edit: Cleared the final stage with Celes, Pecil and Vanille + Bahamut and Quistis friend. Maxed boards on all three (Ifrit Attack, Ifrit Initial Attack and Ifrit Critical passives on each character), first two have EX (Celes doesn't need hers, I finished with tons of extra abilities on her) and Vanille has 1 LB on her 35.
Overall it's very easy, simply Dispel when needed, reapply Runic when it's about to go and battery with Pecil. Swapped Pecil with Quistis right before summon and delayed Ifrit to oblivion. Just don't get broken by the AoEs.

I did ifrit with Kefka (carry), Terra, and Kuja with Sylph summon and friend Quistis, makes the fight a joke, did't get 1 turn in.

Yep! JP just now got that QOL for summon boards and Dev team was nice enough to give us the same QOL with our introduction of summon boards! I feel so spoiled since I remember the old days w/o it.

I thought getting ifrit to 30 would of taken longer, but that portion was really easy grind. I've collected treasures for 18 characters now, I'm using Vanille and Lightning to carry the gimps through.

Quitis banner is trolling me hard tho, eight quitis15 and five sarah15, sigh at least I have a surplus of power stones again.

Got Vanille's 35 and EX thanks to summon board tickets. Going to throw a bit more at Rosa to try and get her EX, then hoard for Lenna.

I've thrown all my tickets constantly at Rosa and Vanille banner and despite pulling 35s nonstop I cannot pull any EXs and I have no idea how you guys all pull EXs on tickets so often... My luck is bad yo.

I still only have 7 EXs

Grats Azat on the double EX!

Also, aimed to try 20 tickets on Kefka in hopes of netting either Tifa 35 or Bartz 35 and got Kefka's EX on last ticket lol. So RIP 25 weapon tokens and 28 power stones for maxed Kefka.

On a related note, I hope SQEX Joshua gets Kefka EX with minimal fuss, would be redemption for his on stream ten's of thousand gems and ticket pulls to get his 35 a year ago.

Edit: It's an easy answer for my luck Silenka, I sacrificed my FFRK luck to DFFOO. Did all realm 15 mythril draws in FFRK and only got Edgar AOSB, Squall fire AOSB, Zeid USB, and OK LMR from it, rest were trash/dupes, plus I'm sure Lenna and Golbez will evade me hard with their EXs.

Rinoa won't though, my 75k gems will stop her!

Edit2: browsed the reddit pull thread, SQEX Joshua got Kefka EX on 6th multi-pull, now that's some redemption!

27 boards done for treasure and 8 full completed so far.

I was trying to just use my 2x books because I didn't was to 'waste' the 3x. That was foolish. 3x is so much faster.

Triple books are extremely convenient for treasure farming, three Ifrits with maximum bonus and you're done :D To max a board you need 11 though but I can usually fit all those within the 30m window, depending on party composition really.
Vanille is easily the best supersinergy here for faster clears.

I've been using Celes for Super synergy myself, as I lack Vanille's ex.

The only issues I have with Celes is she's missing overflow and she's so slow. She deals good damage but she sits at max brave half the fight leaking brave from batteries that lap her.
