Thank you for telling me this, I've stopped keeping track of JP beyond new characters, makes me happy they gave her healing on EX+ since that IS what she does in FF4 lol.

Yeah, I guess they were planning Porom already so they didn't want them to step over each other but a minor heal was needed.
Overall her EX+ is loaded: on top of the free skill use and the BRV recovery on the party she gets more damage, more overflow, the heal and she can deal HP damage to all enemies (full on your target, 50% on everything else). She also gets an HP attack++ that recovers everyone's BRV including her own so she has an option to unload BRV while avoiding break if she's targeted (she recovers around 7-8k, it's usually enough even in CHAOS). And she starts with her unique buff already on so you don't need to waste a skill to activate it.

I've been slacking. @20 mastered, excluding the two current double EXP parties (Kefka/Bartz -did Tifa already- and Golbez/Seven/Laguna). Accidentally let Rosa's party slip so I'll have to do them with a super synergy. What time exactly does super synergy event end?

I only maxed the characters that I'm gonna use right now and a bunch of supports because "why not?". I'll max the others as they get double EXP buffs from sinergy in the various events (did this with the Quistis and Rosa trios, I'll max Kefka and Tifa tomorrow).

OK and Y'shtola reworks are on now! Their banner /w EX weapons should be up in 40 mins!

Used ~85 tickets for OK/Yshtola. Got 5 OK EX, 4 OK 15, 2 OK 35, Yshtola 35 +15, WoL 15.

I think my luck is over, but also wtf at no Y'shtola EX. Was originally not going to roll at all, but said fuck it.

So since I pulled 5, should I just MLB it with the dupes, or use power stones? I know JP you need EX Dupes for ingots or something like that, so not sure what the wisest decision is for it.

EDIT2: Decided to just combine to MLB since I'd have 1 EX left over. GGS. I half regret all those tickets, since I did want to pull for Squall and Cloud next week.

I don't know if the situations improved in JP, but you should't combine dupe EXs since you can convert them for free EX+ upgrade stones (which can otherwise, only be received for beating chaos stages that require EX+)

Grats. I'm waiting until after Rinoa to decide if I use powerstones on him. Just want to make sure Lenna/Rinoa have priority, and they're the pity pulls.

Well I also got OK's EX with a few tickets lol, yay? At least he seems to be really good with his EX+ upgrade: he gets imperil ice on his EX (AoE for Sage, ST for Ninja) on top of party ice imbue with his clvl 65 ability. And a bunch of other things obviously.
Seems like characters that can imbue AND imperil are extremely powerful and useful now in JP after the recent weakness changes, Lulu also seems to be doing well despite no rework at all (she gets double imbue though). Which means Rydia is potentially top tier when she gets EX+, can't wait!

I think this isn't correct... You can't get the purple upgrade stones from selling an EX. The two things you can do with a dupe EX currently is

1. feed it 12 powerstones and then use a book to get 1 weapon ingot. which is considered a waste since powerstones and books are hard to come by too.

2. follow the above steps and then also spend 3 weapon ingots to mlb the EX+, granting you another of that weapon's materia

I tend to sell dupe EX in JP because the materia system sucks atm (placement is permanent) and ain't nobody got extra powerstones.

I really don't think just about anything in the CHAOS era is going to go over well with the GL audience. Gonna be interesting to see.

When I stopped paying attention to JP, the first you mentioned was being touted as an ideal way to get EX+ upgrades, where 12 powerstones and a book to upgrade dupes was a fair trade compared to Chaos fights.

Glad to see its no longer the case though.

50k gems for Lenna EX. Pulls themselves weren't great, except for the last one. Did 65 tickets to try for dupes of 15/35, but didn't get much, unfortunately. Gonna need mega stones for Rinoa now \o/
