Lvling mage on the side and actually liking it. I think I tried twice in the past and quit around lvl 40 finding it boring. I'm up to 60 and enjoying being a dick in low lvl bgs.

Got my alts up through their campaign story and 840 iLevel gear, while my main has two Legendary and is almost 870. Absolutely hated the Hunter story; nothing like sending me all over creation and still need to do the same amount of dungeons/world quests/champion missions as the other classes. The eagle upgrade sucks too.

Time to finish up profession and archeology quests, and start hitting up older content again to farm mounts and other cosmetics, while waiting for the next big patch.

I am really feeling the burn out as well.

Nighthold coming in 2 weeks is the only reason I have not quit. I am only logging in for Emissaries right now.

I just have zero interest in grinding AP, even with AK25. World Quests are uninteresting and samey on top of that, the AP system absolutely kills any temptation to level alts. Can't decide if it's this expansion or if I am just done with grinding in MMOs.

This is where I am now. I love the leveling experience and played around with the content but I really just don't have the time anymore.

I'm pounding my head against the hunter questline now. Talk about a time-consuming fetch quest. Yikes.

Something about the hunter just feels...uncomfortable? It was always my favorite alt, but the class seems terribly hamstrung this expac. No focus generating shots, I can't group enemies up as easily as past expansions, Hati is a complete bumbling idiot who just stands there half the time, and there's this weird period where I'll hammer down on a key for one of my shots and it takes forever to come out, like the game isnt recognizing I'm trying to use a shot. I can't place my finger on whats happening but its infuriating. They gutted frost DK (my main)so it's boring as shit, but damn I can't believe they destroyed other classes so badly too.

And I'm with the rest of you on the grind; I just don't have it in me. I don't know if it's because I'm 33 and just burnt from playing grindy MMOs since I was mid-teens, or if the grind this time around is really that bad. Maybe its because blizzard is throwing roadblocks to fun at every possible opportunity and I'm just sick of it. They make doing anything in legion needlessly tedious. See: Nomi.

Right now I'm just putting a lot of pieces in motion to farm up a shit ton of gold for the next expac. Once I have a good haul I'll quit till then. At least Suramar was fun.

I think Alts are worth the story, though I wouldn't level one from scratch just for that. I've zero interest in AP farming either, so I just don't do that, and I only go after quests if I need resources or a gear upgrade. We'll see how the new invasion quests go with the next patch, if that's where they are. Professions will keep me busy for a while still.

i like AP as a concept but i dont like how relentlessly grindy it is to obtain it, make ways other than WQ feasible options

Raiding and m+ both give a significant amount of AP. At AK25 you could take a fresh artifact up to 35 with 2-3 weeks of moderate play, probably even a month casually.

I have 2 weapons on my mage at 35 traits learned, and 1 on my DK. I don't raid at all and I do maybe 2 m+ a week per toon.

One thing I am getting real tired of is Blizzard's stupid server shit. Every week, usually around Thursday, their servers go to shit and my FPS significantly drops and this sometimes won't clear up until a Tuesday reboot. This is mostly in Legion areas, but even old areas will take the initial 1-5 FPS experience, as things load up, before going back over 50.

It started happening when 7.1 launched. I did notice today that I was using all of my 8 gigs of RAM, due to Firefox using up 1.8 gigs, and relaunching it did help. I'll keep an eye on that, but again, hasn't been a problem until 7.1 shipped.
