It's a fun way to pass time. If you buy it, get the physical version that comes with the dongle so you can actually plug your guitar into your PC.

nice my very first guitar was a yamaha that was almost impossible to play.... i should find that and try to fix it

i started to get a martin this year but man their lower lines aren't all that great and to get up into the solid woods lines you looking at 1400 minimum. I ended up doing hours of online dot com research and ended up with epiphone masterbilt, really really good value on those guitars, was like 700, all solid woods, plays and sounds so good. i wouldn't recommend epiphone usually but they do a great job on these acoustics

you should watch vince gill show off his collection, it's fucking insane... this is after he lost like 50,000 dollars in guitars to the nashville flood.

my fave part is 3:33 he showing off how long that martin rings, reminds me of spinal tap or something "don't touch it"

    Lurker post.

When my grandparents passed away we were going through the house to find things to save and what to get rid of. My brother went into a crawl space in one of the upstairs bedrooms and found an old Martin acoustic. Apparently it was my grandma's, but my mom and uncle had never actually heard/saw her play it. My brother got it restored a bit, as it had been sitting in there for a LONG time. It sounds beautiful now. I'm not sure how old it is, though. I'd guess the 60s if my mom and uncle had never heard it play it, but were old enough to remember it before it got put away.

man that's so awesome, always hoping I stumble upon one at yard/garage sales or some thrift store but man it's like needle in a haystack. any old martin like that is probably worth quite a bit, I dont think they started making more affordable lines until the 90s or so I might be off on that. if it has a SN on it somewhere you can probably get the date online, I'd look it up on reverb dot com once you got model and year just to know what you got

    https://reverb.com/marketplace?make=...&year_max=1970 here's an idea if it's 60's-70s

It might be, but my brother plays guitar so he uses it. The only person that would try to make us sell it would be my uncle, but he doesn't know anything about guitars. My stance is, he found it, got it restored, and plays it; it's his. I just told him to make sure he takes care of it.

It looks like the Tenor models from the early 60s. It has a very similar pick guard as far as I can remember.
