Yea, it wasnt very hard, aside from odin deciding to focus a quad attack on my healer to 1 shot her but I burned him down so quickly it didn't even matter. I'm pretty sure all of the bosses in this event are dumbed down somewhat in difficulty compared to normal event bosses, at least, I had no issue clearing this in JP with a month old account while normal event U+ bosses were a struggle.

yeah, i was hitting full charges for 25-30k with delita. i wish i had more opportunities to cram him into parties, that 50% crit buff is too nice.

Dumb question, did the daily login bonus for this event start sunday or monday? I was busy as shit sunday and didn't log in, so I just got the accessory today. Trying to figure out if I fucked myself out of 5 mythril.

I think they generally tack on a day or two at the end of the event to account for any missed login days.

Just soft math in my head: Day 4 of the event (thus login day 4). 2 days per stage. Day 6 would be stage 3. Day 8 would be stage 4. Day 10 would be the start of stage 5. And then 2 days later the event ends. So yes. You have a 2 day cushion. One is gone.

ran faris/zidane/locke for my thief squad. i swapped thancred out for tyro on the 160 because i only egged the former to 50, probably didn't need to do that though

did my mitigation lapse or does he really hit that hard on the fourth tier?

if I can beat any of these, I can beat this one though. he seems the easiest so far. does anyone know if the fourth tier is vulnerable to slow? the first three were, but it wasn't landing on the last one. event page says no, but it also doesn't list the other ones as being vulnerable so I am suspect

Don't you have Faris' BSSB? Just stack that on top of MBD and Shellga. Also bring Protectga too, he has an AoE physical move as well that does a decent chunk of damage if not mitigated. Protectga should be enough for that though.

Also keep in mind Ultimates tend to have break resistances. So, on top of high offensive stats, you won't be reducing as much respectively. Overall, Southern Cross was probably its most threatening move, and I think it used it on me 3 times doing like 2.5k.
